Hello, Amino !!

We’re at a special point of renewal in our community, and we want to share important changes to make this space even safer, more useful, and more enjoyable for you. Our goal is to restore the core purpose of this Community: to be an organized place for official news, technical updates, and on anything we can help you with in Amino, free from toxicity and misinformation.

[cb]Hello, Amino !!

[c]We’re at a special point of renewal in our co

✧ What’s Changing from Now On?

We’ve reinforced the guidelines with a focus on respect, clarity, and efficiency:

Technical and Informative Focus

Posts must be directly related to Amino (questions about the app, updates, usage instructions).

Off-topic content (personal rants, discussions unrelated to our purpose) will be removed without prior notice.

(✧)˚ ༘ ˚・゚✧:・゚✧

Criticism? You’re Welcome to It, but Be Respectful! We value constructive, specific (e.g., “The new feature X crashed my Android”).

Aggressive comments and attacks on , staff/Team Amino/volunteers, or anyone else will be disabled and may result in punishments.

Zero Tolerance for Harmful Behavior. Bullying, hate speech, harassment, sexual content, or sharing personal data will result in a permanent ban.

Unsolicited advertising (of communities or social media) will also be removed.

Priority for Official Bug . To report technical issues or bugs, please use the Official Bug Report Channel!

Why? This ensures your report goes straight to the engineering team, for faster and more effective responses!

[cb]Hello, Amino !!

[c]We’re at a special point of renewal in our co

✧ Why These Changes?

We want this to be a safe harbor for anyone seeking clear information and a positive environment. It’s not about restricting dialogue, but about protecting the collective experience from noise that distracts us from our purpose.

We sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to this community! Together, we’re building a more transparent, functional, and welcoming place.

Our new [team|ndc://all-] has adopted a fresh action protocol to more effectively combat behaviors that make the community toxic.

:pushpin: The complete [Guidelines] are available.

Thank you,

Aeon

Question regarding what exactly would be considered respectful or constructive/specific , for example posts we saw a lot when A+ with coins was cancelled. Would posts saying “this decision is going to be the death of the app” or “this is why people are leaving” or “another reason for me to stop using amino” be allowed to stay up? It is not disrespectful, it is not attacking individuals, it’s simply a negative opinion on a new “feature” (idk what to call it). Or the outrage during the AI frame debacle, considering the ones that again were negative opinions but not disrespectful towards staff or similar, would those be okay? (I’m asking because I want to ensure the community isn’t going through a censorship of sorts, cuz while I understand there is a fine line between negativity and hostility, there have been times in the past staff here was unable to tell the difference and all ended up paying the price of being silenced. Negative opinions are still opinions and valid, and the example you gave of criticism sounds more like a bug report)

I already did. Bug busters is disabled which means any “technical” issues or problems will have to be reported to help center but if help center can’t resolve basic problems revolving around community activities that violate that guidelines we the s on this app can’t ask them here respectfully? And if we can’t ask here then where or do we just stay silent and let the problem fade off into the sunset sometime eventually by ignoring the problem at hand?

I could go more in depth on the matter with screenshots of the situation but I won’t due to doing so could be misinterpreted as a minor incursion to help center triggering a guideline violation.

The Help Center is not meant to automatically fix technical issues, but rather to clearly and effectively report problems so they can be addressed. Complaining here won’t help improve the app or solve your technical issues. If you’re truly concerned about them, you should reach out to .
