Important Flagging Tips

:small_red_triangle: If you happen to witness anything that violates Amino Policies, you can flag it. It is not necessary to email the Team about violations you have found. Flagging is enough. A flagged piece of content will be reviewed by a within minutes. Reporting in Help Center will take much longer. Please, stick to flagging.

:small_red_triangle: Flag the exact issue or the problem. It means:

- If someone sent you an inappropriate message, flag the message itself, not the profile (and definitely, not the Community it all happened in).

- If someone created an inappropriate post, flag the post, not their profile.

- If someone created an inappropriate chat, flag the chat.

- If a member is sending inappropriate messages in a good chat, flag the messages, not the chat.

:small_red_triangle: All flags against content, that does not violate anything, are dismissed. All flags against violations are taken action on. Sometimes this action may not meet your expectations. Keep in mind, that we have a very robust list where each violation equals a certain penalty. It ensures that all our s follow the same rules.

:small_red_triangle: If you need to flag an Agent profile or something they said or posted, do not be afraid. They will not see your flags. All flags against Agents will go to Team Amino s. Note: flags against other Leaders or Curators may be seen by the Agent too.

:small_red_triangle: Flagging is above important, if you are planning to report something dangerous or Leader abuse. You may attach screenshots of the incident, if you like (and we will review it to get an idea of what you are reporting), but only flagged content will count as evidence. Don’t worry if the content in question was deleted, after you flagged it. If you flagged it, we will see it.

:small_red_triangle: Flagging helps s to detect big issues, like predators, scammers or spam bots. See something, say something. I mean, flag something.

:small_red_triangle: I do not literally mean “flag anything”: do not flag content that doesn’t violate our Guidelines, just because you do not like it. Or a member you do not like. Or a Community you do not like.

:small_red_triangle: ’Mass-flagging’ is not a thing. A good piece of content, a member or a Community is not going to be disabled, just because it was flagged too many times. All flags are reviewed by a human . If they do not see any violations, they will not take any action, even if it has been flagged a million times.

:small_red_triangle: If you need to report something like an inappropriate image sent to you, use flagging. Please, do not take a screenshot to send to your Leaders or Curators. Sending a screenshot of a inappropriate image is just as bad as sending an original image.
