Introduction:

Hello, people of Oz! How are you? We hope the answer is positive! We're back with another activity, are you excited for our second task? But first, how about reading the mini story to get you even more into the mood for Wicked? Aren't you curious to know how this story was to unfold?

Mini story - From Hate to Friendship:

The next few days are a disaster.

The rivalry explodes immediately, and the two don't make a point of hiding it. Their animosity grows and their hatred for each other only increases. For Galinda, Elphaba is a strange girl. To Elphaba, Galinda is a self-absorbed futile. The contempt is mutual and undeniable.

But time has a funny way of turning the tables.

One night at the Ozdust Ballroom, a mistake on Galinda's part makes her feel guilty for the first time. In an unexpected gesture, she offers Elphaba a pointed hat, hoping to ridicule her. But the green-skinned girl, not realizing the trick, wears it proudly. When everyone laughs, she dances alone, transforming what was humiliation into an act of courage.

Galinda watches, touched. Something inside her shatters. For the first time, she sees Elphaba not as a stranger, but as someone strong, someone real.

So she does the unthinkable: she walks up to Elphaba and dances with her. And with that, a friendship is born.

About the activity:

There's no better way to express your feelings than with art! Elphaba and Galinda expressed their feelings for each other through music and now it's your job to express yourself through a painting!
