folding dreams (unofficial set remake)

hi, folks!

for my very first reverie prompt, we were tasked to remake our very first set piece - and lucky for me, i have been meaning to do that very thing for a while now!

my very first set piece was a frame - it was paper crane based off of the 2024 love nikki dressup queen 'folding dreams' event outfit.

at the time i was a huge fan of love nikki - now, i haven't played it in a while but i do fully intend to return to it one of these days. i really wanted to make a bunch of sets based on a lot of its more iconic looks, so perchance i do revisit that idea someday ,':^]

at the time chat bubbles really intimidated me, i didn't know how i could work around the stretch and so simply decided not to do those - so for the longest time this frame was standalone.

but not anymore.

i am going to toot my own horn and say, yes, i am SUCH a fan of this one - ough i have come such a long way B]

i think this set, as compared to the original frame, is a lot more representative of the original vision and also - it would just fit better in amino! the colors really pop and i think the design elements stand out. i'm going to toot my own horn again and say, i can imagine some really baller themes with this set as opposed to the old frame

oh, but, that's not all

to really highlight my growth since my first frame, i've decided to try something i haven't done with a frame before: animation!

now, make no mistake, this was a nightmare to work with thanks to the weird weird functions of alight motion. also i had to seriously kill the quality for amino to even post it so uhhh, 0/10, probably will not attempt again, leaving that to the professionals next time LMAO

but hey, it looks great!

the animated pinwheel was also part of my vision back in 2024, i just didn't have the know-how back then to attempt it. but now i have! and it looks good! but it is soooo difficult booo alight motion fix ur transparency
