hello !! welcome to my town tour

island tour??

oh well, moving along,

i've had new horizons since march 20,

and i have played it every single day

since then. in that time, i've put together

my island pretty well, in my opinion!

it's looking not too shabby, again, in

my opinion, so i decided to make this

little tour blog! keep in mind as i go

along that this island is still heavily

a work in progress, but this is the most

satisfied i've ever been with it !! enjoy :two_hearts:

it's a little bit visible in the first image of

the collage, but my entrance is shaped like

a heart with 2 tiers of waterfalls and it's!!

a little romantic ~ :flushed: :point_right: 🏻 :point_left: 🏻

other than that, the other images are directly

to the right of the town hall/resident services,

and lead to the neighborhood! i'm quite

proud of how it's turning out, and really all

i'm waiting on now is for the tulips to breed.

speaking of the neighborhood, though...

and welcome to the hub of hiraeth! 7 out

out 10 of my residents live here, and those

7 all have a fun time vibing i guess? i've

actually redone the neighborhood three

times, so i really hope they're enjoying it

because moving all those houses so many

times was... not at all cheap, to be frank.

pictured are raymond, chrissy, and wolfgang's

house- the ones i'm most proud of, haha.

the other yards are mostly messes but they're

getting there, definitely !! behind the

neighborhood, though, you'll find...

like everyone else's homes, i've also moved

mine a lot,, before this, i had constructed a

little moat on the third tier so no one could

invade my yard. i tired of this idea quicky; i

didn't really enjoy using the ladder as

frequently as that required-- i'm kinda lazy.

anyway! i made a cute little sitting swing

area and a garden type thing. i heard a

*rumor* that there would be veggies or

something so i made the garden space. i'm

not sure how that would work if they did add

that feature, but it's cute anyway so,,

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ :dizzy: shopping district

to the left of my house is the shopping

district! hh, where do i even begin with describing

this area... well, for starters: ables and nook's

are NOT the same size, which was a

disappointment. behind the plaza of the district

is a little outdoor eating area i guess? i don't

know, it's kinda cute i guess haha. going up

to the district is also a little dirt area ! there's

no real theme to it, it's just a hub of items i

thought were cute together. thinking on it

though, that's all any of hiraeth it to be honest-

it's gone through so many phases of things

i thought were neat, things i dumped because

they were dumb, and the like. anyway !! i'll

move along before rambling more...

the museum was my first little creative

leap for this island. it's been the same since

april and there aren't any plans to change its

location or atmosphere... yet, of course.

i really like how it's sort of secluded in its

own little cove just in front of the shopping

district... kinda cute kinda quirky i guess 🥴

behind the museum is my map's little grassy

beach area that protrudes from the mainland.

there, i've made a little summery shell area,

though that as well is still a work in progress.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ :dizzy: the right beach

and on the note of the beach, the right coast

of my island has a little carnival and "backyard"

barbecue area, as well as a relaxing resort

themed area above that.

i am moreso proud of the relaxing area, though

that's probably because i just started work on

that today, so it's new and hip, y'know? the

carnival area is still pretty rad though, and i'm

kind of a fan of all the nook miles items that

contribute to it. though, uhm, on that note, i

also hate how little items there are but it's

whatever i gues haha 🥰🥰

along with all the above, there are a few

extra areas that didn't really fit into any one

category or really deserve their own, so here

are a few of my favorites of those! pictured

is bitty's house, a wedding spot, a little band

area, a nature-y area, and...   raymond. my

favorite of these is bitty's house- i spent a

few days making her a little special area with

landscaping tips she gave me like "surroud-

ing a house with shrubbery" or "making sure

your flowers are safe in fences." second

favorite is raymond.. i'm not really obsessed

with him anymore but i'm so happy to have

finally found him. it's been a long journey, haha.
