Hello, everyone! We're back with the occasional acorns magazine, and we're extremely excited to show all of the amazing work our group has done this time around! To fit the holidays, this magazine is all about Toy Day. Jingle, colorful lights, presents, snow... these are all aspects of the annual holiday. Let's see what our talented team came up with!

This is my first ever prompt for this group! Im very happy to be here, and so excited to see what I can bring to the table. For this idea, I wanted to do something simple yet very unique to my style… which I think turned out well!

You could really do a lot with this prompt, which I really enjoyed. I had a lot of ideas, one being more of a winter edit, but in the end I wanted to go full holiday spirit since Jingle reminds me a lot of Santa Claus and Christmas!

I’ve been sitting on many ideas for this prompt, but I couldn’t figure out which one to use. I wanted to use presents or even Jingle himself. But I also wanted to be unique and have it represent me. So I jumped into the game and starting taking off all my villagers that were dressed up, Ursala was my favorite and she actually fit the outfit I was wearing. Couple weeks ago I went through discord and found really cute winter outfits. So I used my favorite new Christmas outfit then took photos as well.

Starting the edit I used a present photograph image that was free for all on PicsArt. Then I found a Christmas collage I placed as the background. Already looking cute, I went ahead and place three images of my representative and two photos of Ursala. Going into Phonto, I just ed new Christmas fonts and wanted to use them instead of going through PicsArt options. Finally going to Polarr to filter it was a saturated filter plus a new filter called “winter wonderland”.

Overall the edit turned out super cute and I love how the colors blend so well. I know it practically doesn’t make sense for toy day. But Christmas is about having fun with family and friends and sharing memories. I went with Ursala since she’s one of my favorite villagers and also a really great creation in animal crossing.

This edit was mainly inspired by my Christmas theme blog, but I ended up using some darker red with lighter touches to create this Christmas light looking theme!

Arrived to town

All to hand out

All are happy and no one pouts

Everyone cheers

Excited to see the reindeer

With a black nose

Who hands out gifts with lots of bows

Just for one night

To fill the whole town with delight

The gift giver with tons of fame

To celebrate

This yearly, festive holiday

To bring smiles

And happiness for a while
