daydreaming of valyria

henlo fellow dreamers, and welcome to my second dream diary thing! today we will be visiting the town of valyria, a town based on game of thrones. if you havent seen game of thrones, you might not understand some of the references in this blog/their town, as all three characters and houses are heavily based on characters from the show/books. also, if you havent but plan on watching game of thrones, you might not wanna read this post as there are some spoilers, though i tried to keep it pretty vague. lets get started into valyria, shall we?

one of the first things i noticed once i woke was quite strange.. stonehenge was here! in valyria! i was shocked to see this as i had thought it was in england, but i guess i was wrong.

next i found a cute lil wolf named fang watering some crops and decided to greet him.

i found a wishing well and threw some coins in, wishing the best for my favorite characters in the next season.

after that, i came across a nice picnic area, for all my favorite ships to have lovey-dovey picnic time.

then, i found a cleverly placed fire pit and geyser, to which i can only assume to be ice and fire.

some sort of sweet treat was lying around, so i picked it up and found a cute place to eat it. i dabbed. on accident.

finally, after wandering through this beautiful town, i found a castle. daenerys' castle. there were some trees and bushes surrounding the castle and a metal bench in front of it. i caught my eye on a shooting star and wished as it fell behind the fortress.

this is how daenerys' castle looked. scaly and rigid, like her dragons.

the main room of her castle is simplistic, beautiful, and somewhat intimidating, knowing that there could be dragons about.

well, there goes the intimidation factor. the dragons arent even born yet!

if i can correctly, all of the other rooms were finished, but ill leave them out of this post in case you want to see for yourself. however, as i left the castle, i ran into the queen herself! she of course exclaimed her house motto:

i wandered over to the next castle, which belonged to margaery tyrell. or, i guess you could say it belonged to olenna, her mother, but the characters name is margaery. so there. this is what the castle looked like, sleek and fit for a princess.

the main room of the castle is very prim and proper, fitting for the tyrells in highgarden of course.

i sat down at the table next to who i assumed to be olenna. poor olenna. well actually, poor joffrey, right? ahah.. ill stop.

in their basement is a dungeon of some sorts. with the.. lannister sigil all over the floor?! im probably wrong about this, but it could be somewhat of a metaphor about myrcella? im not exactly sure. let me know who you think this is in the comments!

again, as i was leaving the castle, i found the owner. margaery. man, house tyrell has got some bad luck, doesnt it? the motto makes me sad.

next up, the stark house. ah, good ol winterfell. just like how it was at the beginning of the show. i guess it could also be like it is currently, minus a few characters. the castle looks durable and impervious, great qualities to have when winter is coming.

i spoke to sansa, the owner of the house, and of course she recited the stark motto. a memorable one of many.

now, i swear to the old gods and the new that i took screenshots of the inside of this castle, but i cant seem to find them. they were cute too, i made my character do a lil curtsy type thing in front of a mannequin ressembling jon snow, because well,,, kit harington. thats why. duh. since i cant find those, here are some wonderful pictures of the town i havent included yet.

those are all the screenshots i have of the dreamy town of valyria. i really enjoyed visiting this town, as it gave me some nostalgia since i visited it after watching the latest season. ahh when the times were easy and there were no dragons or sickly ice zombies. those were the days. anyways, i really recommend visiting this dream town if youve seen the show or read the books. its very exciting and i didnt include everything i saw, so it would still be worth while for you.
