Hey everyone! I'm back, but it's not a poll! This time, I'm going to give you guys a few pointers on how to make your own paths, and how to personalize them to give your town a unique flair.
Choose your colour palette
First of all, you need to decide on what set of colours you're going to use. If your town is colourful, then you might want to go with a palette that has vivid colours. However, if you're going to go with a city aesthetic, then you might want to choose some colours that are a bit more dull, or just one set of colours but with many shades.
Making the bricks
First, start making lines that are set like this.
Each brick is 8x16 in this picture, which makes it easy to add patterns to each brick. You can go with something smaller, like 4x8, if you want, but that the designs are going to be more difficult to make.
Next, make a pattern like this throughout the rest of the pattern.
This pattern makes the path seem realistic.
Personalizing your Path
To make the pattern seem more like you, how about adding some style to your walkways? Here is something that I usually use:

Did someone walk through the cement when it was still drying?
Does this need tto be repaved?
Adding borders, and making them look nice!
To make them feel more realistic, why not add borders? This will take up many design slots, but it definitely makes your town look professional!
When making borders, you need to create vertical and horizontal lines, as well as corners. Here are some examples, that also include little designs to make them more eccentric!
