INTRODUCTION

         Hello ACA! I wanted to participate

              in the new winter theme challenge

              so I threw together a simple edit

              today. I wasn’t busy today seeing

              as I had finished the last of   my

              exams this morning so I was able

              to get started on the edits. Overall

              I really enjoyed working on these!

PROCESS

Working on these edits I wanted to go

for a warmer set of colors. At first I

wanted to go with a blue and white

color scheme   but changed my mind

since I wanted to work with characters

that are darker colors. I settled on a

brick red with some of the light blue

and white I originally wanted to use.

One of the more time consuming parts

of the cover image edit was the png of

the 5 npc’s. I screenshotted a clip of a

Nintendo ACNH ad and then erased the

background using Ibis Paint. The cover

image also has an Isabelle png as well

as loads of patterns and resources I

thought would help build my vision for

the cover   image.   Finally    I   took    to

Photopea and added a gif overlay and

messed with some color features a bit

as well.

The matching icon was inspired by the

final product   of   the   cover   image.   I

found a nice   tilted   sign   png   on the

internet. Originally the png had a house

on it with some scribbles but I edited

those out   and   added   a leaf I   made

myself. Then I added text “ACA” as well

as loads of overlays.
