I over fed a newborn cat. I want to give him until he feels full. But I ended up giving him 6 ml, and after 3 hours, I gave 2,5 ml. What should I do? My sister was sick and asked me to take care of him, and I ended up like this. Now he has diarrhea and doesn't stop screaming his bed is warm. I thought maybe he was hungry because (I didn't know what to do, he kept screaming and didn't sleep for so long) I gave him another 1 ml. And just after that, I realized he had diarrhea. I can't go to the vet now it's really too late (2 a.m.), and they are all close. He is still screaming, and I don't know what to do. :sob: :sob: :sob:
I'm so tired, but I can't just sleep and leave him. :sob: :sob:
THANK YOU!!

Maybe use a warm cloth to mimic a mother cat’s tongue to stimulate him?
Well, now he is good. I didn't sleep last until he did. The thing is, the milk we bought for him made him have diarrhea, and it was good. Like the milk my sister made for him before was better than this one. She will add an egg in it because it doesn't have all the vitamins he needs. I hope things will get better for him.
And he didn't sleep yesterday because he was hungry but his tummy was already full. Because of the new milk. My sister only made him milk for little until we buy one, but this one wasn't good for him. So we will try to find a solution.
You need to make sure you stimulate to go to the bathroom after feeding. His tummy may be upset because of how much he ate. Also, ask your sister how much she feeds him and how often, if she didn't tell you before. She should have.
Well, I just misunderstood what she said.
She only gives him 3 ml every 3 hours. His weight is 83 g hungry and 85 g full. I make sure to stimulate every time right now. He is still 85 g now. And he is still screaming. He takes some breaks and starts screaming loudly. I tried to make him a massage to his stomach and stimulate again, but he was still crying. He is 2-3 days old. His mom gave birth to him this sunday and left him.
