Tis me, your favorite ghost.
I wanted to share an art

art class in school for funsies.

Some things to mention:
I'm not great at blending, I'm not great with nature and realistic vibes, and I don't know what skull this is. I kind of just made it up, but it's like an animal skull? I'm trying new things I wouldn't normally create lately to expand my skills and get out of my comfort zone.
I'll make an art dump of all of my animal related things in a couple months, maybe.

About the art:
I used acrylic paint! I'm most comfortable with acrylics and I'm hoping to work on my technique. This piece took me about 40+ hours?-

The meaning:
My art teacher wanted us to make something that has meaning, so I chose something that hits deep for me right now.
To sum it up, the meaning behind it is grieving and moving forward. It symbolizes death and growth- there's still beauty in the dark and that life still moves forward, continuing to grow, when you feel so far behind in time; letting every dark thought in your heard take over.
It takes a lot of strength to grieve and still try to move forward, and I'm proud of whoever fights those battle to try their best, too. It took a lot in me to think of the meaning, as I'm currently going through a couple of losses, but I made the painting to release those feelings in something more than poetry/writing.

A skull that has been sitting for a long time sprouts a tree from the top of it. Dead leaves have fallen off, and new flowers begin to bloom. It may make no sense, but that's the best kind of art.
