How they got their name:

I got him from his previous owners, so I don’t know why they named him Chive.

How did I get the pet:

Chive’s previous owners had so many other pets and full-time jobs, so they figured they weren’t giving him the attention he needed. They decided to give him to me, since I had been wanting another pet for a while. I hadn’t had a pet for over three years.
