Review on Nendoroid Chifuyu Matsuno Figure

Hello AA ( Anime Amino), today I'm going to keep reviewing my new favorite figure. If anybody is interested, I will share more information about the figure and where you can get it. Anime figures can be expensive because the shipping payment or just the materials are super expensive to make. So, I was bored after I looked at every single post about Wind Breaker. They do post more about what figures and other stuff they are selling online, but only pre-orders. Then I saw Chifuyu, who caught my eye and already became a Matsuno Figure from Good Smile Company. What is a Good Smile Company? It's a Japanese manufacturer that makes anime figures but also sells dolls, stickers, etc. They do have a US website, so they can ship it from my location but then I saw Walmart has the same figure. This is getting more interesting. I trust Walmart. I ordered some art supplies before, and they arrived at my location.

Who is Chifuyu?

This is a spoilers alert, btw.

For those who don't know who Chifuyu is, he is from Tokyo Revengers. Chifuyu is a character who s Takemichi throughout difficult times. They are both always together no matter what. What I love about Chifuyu is that he is so loyal to Takemichi & Baji, of course. Chifuyu has known a lot about Baji since middle school. After Chifuyu lost his friend Baji, he decided to follow Takemichi because he wanted to help his goals and himself. So now he is following Takemichi and seeing where he is taking him. The crazy about Chifuyu, he understands Takemichi so well. He really does believe in Takechichi that he can time travel to the past and the future. His future himself is still the same.

The same Chifuyu who is loyal to Takechichi. Before meeting Takechichi, Chifuyu was a cool dude in middle school who dyed his own hair a cool color and made himself cooler. It's like he's trying to say, "I'm better than you people" type. He was super interested in fighting a strong opponent like Baji, but suddenly, he didn't expect Baji to be a good person. So that's why he was loyal to him because Baji was so much cooler than anybody else in middle school. Fun fact: Chifuyu has a pet cat named Peke J. It's so cute. I love Chifuyu a lot because he is super attractive to me. I bet everyone else agrees because whenever you see an attractive anime boy or girl, you will fall in love.

The Progress

Now I always check if it's a good price. I know some people hate buying expensive things like anime figures. They always go for the better deal or better price. People will go crazy if they see a discount, like myself. First off you place your order for your favorite Chifuyu figure. It said the original cost was $46.67, but then you got a discount and it's $17.50 now. So you save $29.17. Don't get tricked by it because you are going to pay more. So there is more math to it. $17.50 plus $6.35 (seller shipping) plus $1.91 (Estimated taxes) and you get $25.76 in total. I thought I needed to pay $23.85, but then again, I do need to pay the taxes. So they add an extra dollar. So it's bad? In my own opinion, yes it was bad because the US loves to pay taxes. Anyway, I really do love Walmart because they can track your order on your Walmart , the date, and the time. They also show a picture of your package at your location so that way they are telling you, "Your package is here, buddy."

But if you are a person who really wants to order from the same company then you can go to Good Smile Company. I prefer you guys buy from Walmart or another store that is cheaper because it has a better deal. If it has a discount, order it now because the price will change soon. Make sure it's the same manufacturer name so you won't get scammed. It's up to you if you really are looking for a lower price or not. Walmart has the lowest price that I can find while researching. I check each Japanese website and they are expensive with the same figure. Yeah, they do have discounts, but they are still expensive because of the shipping payment. So please do more research when you are buying anime figures because they are so super expensive. I do need this figure because I need to use it as a reference when I'm going to make my own anime figures at home in the future. I don't have a lot of figures at home. So this is my chance to get him now. I want to add that I ordered this figure on April 17. So I have a chance to get the discount before it's gone.

My first impression of the box & the figure

My figure is here! Before I unbox it, let's review the box first. This is very important to me, to see if the original box was the same or not. I'm here to learn if the figure that I ordered is fake or not. After all, people keep buying figures that get them scams and dislike them. Some people don't care about that, but it's just a thing that you are going to look for if you really want the original thing. Getting scammed whatever you buy online, sometimes it's not easy to spot the difference. Now, If you get a scam, you can tell your figure is different the way the original picture is different from the original figure.

Some people don't see that because they can't even tell. So you better check who is selling the figure. It has to be the same thing as the original picture. Now, the tricking part about that is some companies sometimes don't put more original pictures on their website. This means they don't show more about the original figure next to the box, or the original box is not there. So you need to be careful when you are buying online for anime figures or other stuff.

My first impression so far it's not a scam because the figure doesn't look different from the original picture. The box has a window similar to the lookup figure that I have. The difficult part is that the figure has different small things that you can put to your liking. The hands are so small that I need to be careful about where I put them. He also has his pet cat and his favorite food. They are all so tiny! Looking at Walmart's description it said, "Painted plastic non-scale articulated figure with stand included. Approximately 100mm (3.94in) in height." Also, Sculptor is made by Sho Nagano. It weighs 0.52, btw. So it's not that heavy. The texture of this figure is smooth and it's soft. They have a lot of details that I'm shocked. I'm very surprised at how much detail they put on a small figure. No wonder it has become popular now because people like small things and you can put whatever you want on your figure. So here is a quick video that I was trying to open the box. You can't tell by the video because it was fast; I was trying to be careful to open it. I don't want to ruin the box. My plan is to keep the box and in the future, I will order more of this kind of figure. Also, I added another video that shows you how much detail the figure looks close-up. If you ask me to compare my look-up figure, they look so different because the look-up figure can just move the head but the figure right now I have you can move all the body or remove the body parts. Very cool figure I will say.

Is it worth buying this figure?

In my own opinion, yes it was worth it to buy a Nendoroid Chifuyu Matsuno Figure from online. I know some people will disagree with me because it's expensive to get it right now, but once you see they made a discount, you can really have the figure. I'm really happy that this figure is coming to my house right now. This is so cute small figure that I own now. I have fun choosing my pose for my Chifuyu. So far, this is my favorite pose of him: His hair, holding his favorite food and giving a warm smile. I do have a hard time putting the tiny hands by holding the objects, but so far, it's cute. So, if you are going to order this figure, please be careful. You might not want to lose the tiny objects. If you dislike small things, don't buy this figure. If you live in the US. You can order from the Good Smile Company US. If you live outside the US, you can try ordering from the Japanese website of Good Smile Company. The website doesn't have to be Good Smile Company to buy it. There are a lot of other websites where you can order this figure, but yes, it has to have the same company that made the figure. Please check the prices if you going to buy it. Depending on how much the website wants you to pay. Overall, I love this figure so much.
