Art Block, the epitome of my existence. But let's be real, any artist that has ever said they don't struggle with art block is lying. For those of you who don't know the term by now, art block is a lack or creativity artists of all kinds experience that causes them to not create, or have trouble accepting their art. I have been going through this and every time I want to draw, I'm not happy with it. I have been trying to find motivation to put up the next post but I am just not happy with the way it's turning out. Whenever I was a younger artist the other kids didn't have the same capability I had when drawing, I got a lot of praise for my skill. Now I am learning the flaws in my art, and what the audience wants to see. I am going to try and just keep encouraging myself.
WAYS TO HELP WITH ART BLOCK
For me I love taking a break and learning new things about art that way when I come back I know more about what I'm doing wrong and I can come back fresh. I understand if you have a tight posting schedule, for that, try and just do sketches and/or practice individual body parts. And if your still not happy with it... EXCUSES! Now don't say something distracted you like its not your fault. Its no ones fault, everyone goes through art block. Don't be afraid to say your practicing or going through art block. Be honest with your audience. They love your art because you put effort into it for them and seeing that you pushed through to post, is definitely good enough. It encourages those who are also going through this.
