Woah, what does this mean?

Here's my interpretation: The balloon is his heart. We don't want it being popped. The cactus is framed and potted inside completely. You need to leave the house. Life is out there and it's painful. It can be daunting to fight again and again when all of them individually take so much out of you but then you can frame them all and so that can keep you going. One cactus, one thorn at a time.
