Assignment: Do a study of an inspiring artists work, at least 1 painting per day.
I have to do 12 of these to get to next lesson. I hope i wont quit it half way due to laziness. And it would be a great habit, if i could follow thru on my self promise.
This is my study of Lloyd Allan's piece. It's not fully rendered. Doing the details takes a lot of time. And it's not really rewarding on a study piece. Better to spend that time on the next piece.

That was one of the main reasons for me to make a study of this piece. His compositon is really good.

Great study! Some notes on the detailing: he didn't fully render it either! Details like the bricks are an overlaid texture--just something you could play around with in the future!
