Day two -

Day two I decided that the prompt was artist. I decided to draw one of the most influential artists in my life, Hisaya Nakajo. She is the author and artist behind Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom. I loved this series and have read it multiple times over the years. I wanted to pay a small tribute by exercising her style on the only image of her I could find. If you have not read the series I don't know what you're doing with your life.

Fun fact: She is the first person I sent a fan letter to. In said letter I sent her a drawing and asked a question about one of the characters. I didn't get a direct reply (at the time she didn't reply to English letters) but she did provide an answer a couple years later in her final book of the series. I don't want to assume but i like to believe my letter may have influenced the answer.
