I made some new characters to accompany Jul and Rome in my comic series. Everyone meet Nicole, Thomas and Marsha and of course George.
All 3 of them were infected with the same Virus as Rome and Jul just different strands of it. I had the idea that the infection type would differ depending on the circumstances from which the person was infected.
For example: Marsha’s infection type is one of the rarer ones. She contracted hers from a bacteria in pool water. Which has a low survival rate and an even lower infection rate due to the chlorinated water properties. However the water infected her and now she has siren properties but can only breathe through chlorinated water. She needs to consume humans to survive.
Thomas’s infection type isn’t as rare as Marsha’s but still is a rare one. He contracted his infection from both contaminated pollen and ingesting contaminated produce. Thomas’s infection has a very low survival rate and an even lower infection rate. Thomas now has carnivorous plant like properties. Because of this Thomas doesn’t need to feed as often as the others. Only needing to eat every two weeks however it takes him 3 days to properly digest his food. He also needs to consume humans to survive.
Nicole’s infection type is the rarest. However not because it has a low infection rate or survival rate. It is rare simply because it is based off circumstance and chance. Nicole was bitten by an infected vampire bat, which isn’t something that happens often. She contracted it by cave exploring around the time the virus was running rampant. Nicole now has vampire like abilities. She’s just not allergic to garlic and doesn’t immediately dissolve when in sunlight. It’s more like a bad sunburn. However she does need to consume human blood to survive.
Georges infection type is very different. Animals getting infected from the virus is an uncommon occurrence. However George contracted his infection type from ingesting a mixture of radioactive fluid mixed with the virus. Which has an extremely low survival rate. However George can now mutate himself to be 10 times his size when threatened.
Rome and Juls infection type is uncommon but not rare. They have the strand of the virus that causes them to be conscious zombies. Typically when a person is bit by a zombie they become a mindless blood lusting creature that slowly decays and deteriorates over time. However that isn’t the case with their infection type. They are undead there’s no doubt about that however they are just as conscious as they were when they were alive. They just now have to consume human flesh to survive. But they still enjoy some of their normal foods from time to time.
A little bit about these new characters:
George is Jul and Romes Pomeranian. He was a stray they found eating out a dumpster one night on the way back from a party. They took him in and he went from a random stray to George the destroyer (George for short). He’s is spoiled rotten by those two.
Nicole is an 18 year old vampire who is friends with Thomas and Marsha. She’s has a very coquette aesthetic but a very bold and daring adorable personality. Shes incredibly close with Marsha as she is her older cousin and they are both only children. Which means they practically grew up as sisters.
Thomas is a 19 year old plant infection type who has a very plain, and studious aesthetic. He still tends to his garden and loves plants despite them leading to his infection. He’s timid but has a good heart and loves his friends. However he’s especially timid around Marsha.
Marsha is a 20 year old siren who was a competitive swimmer before her infection. She resides in an abandoned hidden pool as she awaits visits from her friends and her cousin. She’s very laid back and often sarcastic but has good taste in music.
They all enjoy each others company and occasionally bump head as friends do. But overall they adore one another.
Side note: They call George, George the destroyer because his farts could easily clear a room.
