hey so I absolutely love this challenge and I do it at least once every year, and it had been a while since my last attempt so I did this! it was originally meant to be a 20 art style one, but I got tired of it halfway through so uhh this is it.
if you don't already know, an art style challenge is where you draw a character in a bunch of different art styles. it's not a concrete drawing challenge, just something that's been around for a while. you can do however many styles you want, and whichever styles you want. I chose these styles because they were either from something I loved or they were styles I loved, or both.
the character is my persona, basically a very exaggerated version of myself lol.
My favorite drawing out of all these is definitely the Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me style (the black and white one), it's one of my favorite art styles ever, and I think I did it justice?
the art styles I ended up doing were:
mine, catboy (graphic novel), studio ghibli, miss kobayashi's dragon maid (anime), hunter x hunter (anime), mob psycho 100 (anime), over the garden wall (cartoon), S A (manga NOT the anime), Laura Dean keeps breaking up with me (graphic novel), and parasyte (anime).
if you know any of these (especially laura Dean, otgw, and mp100) please talk to me about them lmaoo I really love them a whole lot, except parasyte which I low key hated near the end lol.
Below is a version where they're formatted in the traditional style, I didn't add mine because it looked nicer that way.
