What first got you into art?

Ever since I was a kid I’d just doodle in class instead of pay attention. I loved deg fun characters and making up my own worlds and stories for them. I had literally hundreds of characters.

Where does your inspiration come from now? who are your inspirations?

I have a lot of inspirations. My favorite artists are babezord, sinnykitt, yhoukka, and krooku. I also get inspired by completely random things sometimes, like what I’m eating for breakfast or a random bird in a tree. My camera roll is pretty much spammed with random things that I find inspirational.

What mediums do you enjoy working with?

I feel the most comfortable with digital art but I’ve been trying to expand my mediums by doing some ink work and water color painting.

What is your favorite piece and why?

Right now my favorites are tied between these two.

I like the first one because it has some of my favorite things in it; gore, bugs, and cute animals and reminds me of some of my favorite artists.

I like the second one because it’s more dynamic than most of my art and has both a foreshortened pose and a background which I almost never do but I want to do more often. it’s kind of a landmark painting of my growth for me and every time I see it it makes me happy ^^

How do you deal with artblock? Any tips?

Whenever I have art block I do this thing where I doodle a bunch of blobs on a piece of paper and then try to turn them into things. it’s really fun ^^

Do you have any advice/tips to share with other artists/new artists?

My biggest piece of advice is to not rush progress and that there are no short cuts for practice.

How would you describe your art style? Do you have a favorite if you have multiple art styles?

I don’t really know how to describe my art style, partly because I don’t really like my art style right now. I guess I would call it experimental since it’s constantly changing.

What does art mean to you?

Art is a huge part of my life. I love making art, looking at art, talking about art, it just makes me really happy. art gives the world a spark of creativity that makes life worth living.

What are your art goals/aims?

My biggest goal right now is to get better at anatomy, perspective, and composition. I’m also trying to get better at traditional art and learn more mediums.

Do you have any original characters? If so what can you tell us about them?

I have a crap ton of ocs that I never really use :joy: here are a few!

I don’t really have much to say on them since I almost never actually draw them. I mostly just make them for fun.

I have an original species too and people can feel free to make their own as long as they credit me and show me the creations.

Are there any facts about yourself you’d be willing to share?

I have a small dog that fits in my backpack. he’s really stupid and I love him very much :>
