「Chapter 2」

Class was boring, as expected.

Tohoka walks outside of the classroom and Akira is standing, smiling to himself as life es him.

"What did you get out of that?" She attempts to reference the typical session of class, though unsure whether Akira understood.

"I sorted my first date with my girlfriend." She's surprised by this sudden mention of a 'girlfriend'.

"Waah, you have a girlfriend!?" She practically yells in his face.

"Don't be so loud, and sorry, I didn't quite have the time to tell you about much at all, did I?" He laughs in a guilty way.

Two girls walk past giggling to eachother.

"I think everyone assumes he needs a haircut." The laugh louder as they , receiving most people's attention.

"Including that. Who or what are they talking about?" She leans toward Akira in a tsundere way, glaring at him, in the same manner.

"I don't know exactly, but rumors started about some lonely kid last year, but as I said, I don't know exactly who's being referred."

The kid in which they are reffering, is simply around the corner. He overheard both the girls, and Akira, causing him to feel like crying. He wonders if anyone at school actually knows his name, apart from a certain person for a certain reason, yet neither are good.

"Anyway, whatcha girlfriend like?"

"Her name is Mika. She's like you but shorter, light pink hair." He blushes, mildly describing her.

"Is that really all you can give me?" She sighs. "Men." The boy laughs to himself, still listening to Tohoka and Akira's conversation. Yet neither of them took notice of it.

"Hey, girls are even more confusing."

"See, you men can't even call us women."

"Girls sounds better." Tohoka sighs, then instantly bursts with laughter, following with Akira. The boy laughs too, though quitely enough to still be unnoticed.

"So, Tohoka Ito."

"Yeah?" She thinks of ramen, which makes her hungry.

"I think you'd be good friends with Mika."

"Really? Where is she?"

"She's home shcooled, dumb dumb."

"Then who did you talk to this morning?" She sneers getting real up close to Akira, glaring at him.

"I left my phone at a friend's place, so I went to get it from him so I could sort the date via phone."

"Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh."

"I think you should meet her sometime though."

"Okay."

The school day ended quicker than Tohoka thinks. She gets home earlier than her brothers, so she gets the house to herself.

She thinks about putting on TV then realises there wouldn't be anything interesting on at this time of day. She's hungry, so she looks for something to eat, but can't find anything that suits her.

She walks into her room and flops onto her bed, then instantly grabs her phone and realises Yuki texted her.

Yuki instantly replies.

He lost his phone bfore we came 2 school dumby

She doesn't bother replying again because of her tiredness, so she falls asleep in a weird position.

Tohoka gets woken up by the slamming of the front door, wondering who it was. She gets up lazily and walks down stairs and it's her father, who doesn't look negative, so must've accidentally slammed the door.

"Hi." Tohoka rubs her eyes still half asleep.

"I see you've been sleeping, where are the boys?"

"Yuki's looking around the city and I dunno about Hiroshi." She half mumbles but her father still understands.

"Rough day?"

"Nah, just not quite used to back to school yet." They both laugh.

"Of course. Did you make any friends?"

"One."

"I thought you were sociable."

"Well I was talking to him all day, didn't have the time."

"Oh, so it was a boy?" He raises a brow.

"No, not like that, he has a girlfriend."

"Yeah, okay." He walks over to put his phone on the charger, but finds another phone.

"I think I found Hiroshi's phone pfft."

"Seriously? Boys." She laughs at the fact she was saying that to a boy.

"Pfft, thanks."

Hiroshi walks in just as the conversation was going.

"Hey, Hiro, we found your phone." She laughs, nodding in the direction of the counter-top it was lying on.

"What the hell? I swear I had it in my room."

"Well here's the evidence you were wrong." Hiroshi laughs, then Tohoka re what she had to on.

"Yuki's gonna be out for longer, he told me to it on." Hiroshi gives her a thumbs up in reply.

Him and their father conversate whilst Tohoka thinks to herself about how she used to feel more connected to Hiroshi untill he got stuck between her or Yuki's side. She re how he was in a bit of a depressed state in the meantime. At some point Tohoka tried to him, though he saw it as her trying to persuade him, though it was empathy for him, nothing to do with the small rivalry.

"Hey, Tohoka." Hiroshi walks into her room, whilst she's eating pizza and playing Fortnite.

"Mhm?" She got pizza as left-overs from last night, since nobody else ate that kind. Hiroshi sits beside her, watching her snipe 3 players quickly, one by one.

"Did you hear the rumours about that lonely kid?" She gulps her pizza after killing the final player then screams in victory.

"Yeah." She shoves another slice of pizza in her mouth, only half listening to Hiroshi.

"Do you know who it is?" She shakes her head in reply, due to her mouth being full of pizza.

"Whatever. You're pretty good at Fortnite for a girl."

"Compwiment daken." She swallows that slice. "I wanna see you play." She holds the controller out to Hiroshi, offering a match to him.

"When those greasy hands have been on it? Nah." Tohoka death stares him as he laughs, though she thinks of a comeback.

"Oh well, all the glory for me." She starts matching for another game as he leaves the room.
