#Icebreaker

hi hi I’m new to this amino and thought it’d be fun to do the icebreaker. I don’t usually do them but there’s no harm in it.

questions:

What would you like to be called?

Elk! I’m also fine with Criollo or Arctic.

What are your pronouns?

he/him.

What brought you to this amino?

I wanted a community to get involved with and share my art! I was considering other social media’s but amino is familiar to me so it seems like a good place to start.

Do you have any original characters?

Yeah! Tons, haha.

What are your interests besides drawing?

Reading, writing(I’m working on a novel currently!) and playing games are some of my main interests.

When did you start drawing?

Maybe it’s cliche, but all my life. I don’t a time, and can’t imagine one, where I didn’t draw.

What do you specialize in?

Digital art primarily! But I also do a lot of traditional art between classes and such when I don’t have my iPad.

Do you have any artist that inspires you?

I have a lot, actually. The main ones are @Pxkibu, @Vamtres, @explodikid, @mercywashere_ and @rorokonaa, all on Instagram! Go check them out, they’ve got cool art :3

Any pet peeves?

I’m never sure what counts as a pet peeve, haha. But maybe when people randomly go through your sketchbook :sob: it feels like an invasion of privacy, get out!!

What kind of music do you like?

I listen to nearly everything(including country music, surprisingly) but I mostly find myself indulging in metal and rock.

What is your current style/aesthetic?

I don’t particularly have one, but I think the easiest way to describe it is middle aged dad or Adam Sandler if he found Pinterest.

What is your favorite anime/tv show/movie?

My favourite anime is probably Sk8 the infinity or Jujutsu Kaisen, my favourite show is possibly The Rookie and my favourite movie teeters between Lady and the Tramp and Hereditary.

What is your favorite thing to draw?

My characters :,D my babies bring me significant joy.

Do you have a favorite food or drink?

My favourite food is any type of fruit and my favourite drink is water.

What art style other than your own do you like?

all of them!! But especially super clean art and painted art.
