Happy MerMay! That's right folks, MerMay 2024 is upon us and after years of watching from afar I've decided to dip my toes into this month long art event. Since I didn't want to overexert myself I won't be posting every day. But I've prepared a handful of pieces I hope you'll enjoy. Diving right in with Mermista from She-Ra 2018. Since I drew her for MerMay 2020 I decided to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with posing, composition and backgrounds. So I took inspiration from the original She-Ra and redrew Mermista mimicking a pose from her 80s counterpart. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out.
