i want to make a comic! problem is, i need help with making the story. i have some ideas but i don't know if they're good or not.
it's about these three kids who have some type of magic and live in the normal world, but then end up in this magic world and their goal is to get out of it and back home.
that's the main idea!
can you help me more in pm? i don't really know where else to ask and i really don't know if this story is good or not because i've only told myself about this until now.
thanks for reading!
still nervous about this. lol.

Developing your characters is one if the most important things in a story- if the reader cares about the characters, they'll be willing to follow them anywhere the plot goes.
Part of that is making them realistic, ie they should have various traits that can be interpreted as either good or bad depending on the situation, it's more than just "adding flaws." (i.e. a light-hearted fun-loving character can be seen as fun to some people but an airhead to others- this trait can help them easily make friends but also simple mistakes.)
They should have goals above all, something that gives them purpose outside of "get back home." Why exactly do they wanna go home? Is there someone they're close with back home that makes them believe they NEED to get back? Maybe there's something important they left behind that they need to go back and finish? The comment about playing around with your characters to get to know them is a good idea to try out.
Sorry if that was long or confusing, I'm open to questions if there's anything you want me to clear up :)
I'm an expert so you don't have to take my opinion
I think if you can summarize the plot of your story in one sentence obviously simplifying Then it's a good plot
Though execution is the most important part
