The night of his return

Omg it's been almost a month since I didn't posted. But, all of my exams are over finally, and I can draw my OCs again.

I made this mini comic when I was still in exam season. That's why it's a bit rushed, it's not perfect, it could've been even better, but, I still love it as it is.

I was kinda in a mood for something romantic, so I got myself to draw a mini comic about an older scene from Merien and Roman's story.

This takes place in a time when they're already a married couple. Roman comes home after a war, that took almost half a year to win. On the night of his arrival, it is known for all the people in the mansion, that he should be left alone, without anyone approaching him, or talking to him. It has always been that way, because right after getting home he is still in fighting mode, all of his senses are really sharp, ready to strike even to a flies humming. He needs that night to calm down and switch his mental state back to normal after beeing on edge for that long.

This time it's his first war after getting married, so for Merien it is the first time that he shuts himself away from her without any interaction. The maids and the house keeper explain the situation to her, but she still wants to see him and be with him, even if others tell her it's dangerous. So she enters, and approaches him, but for everyone's surprise Roman's reaction is completely different from what it always used to be. After her first touch he gets to relax, and feel that he's home.
