Zenitsu is a really cool character from Demon slayer. And one of fav characters in anime. So I drew this art of him.
Materials used:
* Cretacolors pencil
* Faber castell polychromos
* Luxor black thick and thin tip markers.
Process:
I recently learned a new technique for making anime faces at different angles which actually really helped in making this zenitsu face. If it wasn't for that technique, it would have taken me forever to draw it.
Then I carried on with the complete base sketch of it.
It was a huge relief completing the base sketch quite nicely.
Then I went on with the outlining.
Then I started coloring the face of zenitsu. I used 4 layers of shading on everything including his skin. And yellow for the effects of the lighting.
And his hair we're one of the most time consuming parts of this art. Cause I used around 3 shades of yellow along with 3 shades of orange and a bit of brown.
Then I started of coloring the lighting using yellow color.
Then I went off coloring the sword. I worked specially on the sword to give it a 3D look. Cause I wanted the sword seem to come out of the page.
Then came the part of coloring Zenitsu's dress. It was a difficult part as I have to show the yellow highlights of the lighting around it. So I did a base black color and using yellow and umbr shades over it and it looked out pretty well.

And then this is the final look after coloring everything including background and finishing touches.
