A Lonely Serenade [Levi Ackerman]

Just an old piece of writing I revised a bit 🤷🏻‍♀ Hope you like it :D This is like, very short so you might as well consider it a prompt or something...

Beautiful tunes flowing from his violin, the ravenette stood there once more like he usually does for the past 25 years. The sky was cloudy like his heart, but no signs of water pouring from above. Just the same as his heart again. His sharp, but wistful gaze locked directly to the gravestone in front of him.

The writing on the stone, carved beautifully the name of the most beloved woman in his life with a fancy calligraphy style.

“Kuchel Ackerman,” it said.

The ravenette kept playing, his eyes shut. He sunk into the music as his hands ionately fiddle with his old, but elegant black violin. It was left to him by Kuchel, his mother, because the beautiful woman was once also a great violinist adored by many.

The man too, is a violinist. Which explains how he managed to play such a delicate and touching tune. The tune he used to practice very hard for his mother to hear. And he finally managed to play it well at this very moment, as the woman in black hair would likely be smiling proudly at him now.

“I hope you’re enjoying this, mother,” he whispered, smiling at the gravestone. He stayed there for the next few hours, accompanying his mother’s lonely grave with a serenade made just for her...
