Olla everyone,a story for you all. Please no criticism about my drawing. Honestly , I just started to draw. I don't have any colors either so just a few pencil sketch. And I hope you all enjoy the story.

Shut slam. ' They say life is but a dream for the dead.' ' If it was true, were we in control of our own fate all these times? ' ' Or was it just an illusion that never meant to exist? ' ' Beginning with a hello and ending with a solemn farewell. A-ha I would never know but I could care no less of it. Rather be a dream or an illusion ,it was worth the memories I carry on?" Shut slam
" What are you looking at ? " "Nothing, just staring at the sunset. " "The sunset ha. Hey ,Wanna be friends." " Aren't you going to answer me? "
A door slam shut with a loud bang.
'Blood......Blood.....Red blood....…red…red……so red….everything ….everything is so red. Why is everything so red? Why? Why? I MUST BE CRAZY. ' Dry laugh escape my throat as if to justify my conclusion.
' YES, I MUST BE CRAZY.' my crazed laugh soon turn bitter as tears falls down my cheek. My body shiver as I clutch tightly on my chest with my left hand.
''Young boy ''
The shivering came to a hull as I hear the foreign voice. My attention slowly drifts to it's direction.
''A troubled Young boy indeed. "
My vision hazed as I was pull out from my eccentric phase. I could make a vague figure out in the bitter darkness with it's background painted in red.
"Open your eyes Young one and look around...not everything is red. "
I came to realized , that the place was unfamiliar to me . My heartbeat ran fast as a horse in a race. A quick sweep from my left hand, my vision finally cleared for the better. Uncountable numbers of door scattered all over. My blue eyes wandered around .Alas,did I wish I was blind for the sight that presented in front of me was truly horrid.
"My arm...... Where is it ?" Choking out my words with anguish ,I stared at my missing right arm. My cloak drenched in blood. To my lament ,did the stranger answered
" You have much more to worry about at the moment young boy. " The calm shooting female voice came closer with every step.
Blue met Golden eyes of pure beauty. Dressed in Blue gown fit for the Queens, her graceful presence calm my nerve. Bewildered and enchanted by her, my mouth muted at the lost of words. Her long well tamed red hair flows like water defying the very nature of gravity. My eyes wandered to her gold crown, well framed on her head, with a diamond shape blue ruby half of which seems to be missing. My eyes widened as I recall the familiarity of that ruby.
" I believe you came to realization ."
She continued kneeling down in front of me.
" No, I have not. Where am I? " I voiced weakly.
" Do you not recall you past memory? You are quite aware of this place. "
" I recall nothing .Who are you ? What do you mean I know of this place ? What is this place?" I asked frantically .
" Not even this and how you came to posses of it. " says the enchanting beauty as she touch the forgotten black string around my neck with a small ruby tied at the center conceal with care.
Her pale body glows in the darkness. Then did I realized, we were surrounded by water. Thousands of question ran through my mine but no a word came out. All I could but muster these words.
" I don't know. My memory fails me. It just feels like I have seen it somewhere. That's about it. "
Pulling her hand away ,she look at my miserable deformed sight. A door at my right open and slam shut itself, of which frightened me.
" Time is a wasted, young one . For you have far more important matter to attend to . I believe I was summoned as your heart ached for glimpse of hope. "
I was not given much time to soak up her words as she quickly pull my head towards her and kiss my for head .My confusion was forced to be forgotten as I dived into my utmost needed memory . A flash of white light would I described that I saw before diverse colors blended in slowly.
" What are you doing? " " What were you thinking out there? What are you looking at? HEY ANSWER ME. "
The vision of a green eyed boy faded as he shouted at me.
" He is the only one who survived ?How the hell did that happened! " " Shush you, he will hear you. He just lost his whole team you know. Be considerate. " Whisper of voices flash through my mind. Unconsciously ,my heart began to ache. Slam shut a door.
" What a weakling ? I wonder why they protect him all the time? "
" Move it soldier, you have barely ran a lap. Push your limit . Dam it cadet . Get your ass back up. "
" What a loser? " " I know right…"
My hand forming into a fist.
" Run boy Run. You can do nothing here. Before those titans get to you, Run to the harbor. "
"What a wuss? So not worth my time. "
Series of insult after insult took a bite out of my broken heart with no remorse. However those dreadful memories carried on like a train that never stops .I crunched down and shouted.Slam shut yet another door.
" Stop it. Enough. Why are you showing me this? Is my memory fill only with remorse?
A door open slowly with a creak sound. I expected it to slam close like the others but it was not to be. All I could see was darkness. Strangely it allures me towards it. I enter the door not knowing what lies beyond.
Creak ''Look at that ,the wuss is getting up. How do you like my punch? "
" Not talking are you. Well we will fix that in a moment. "
" That coward ran away. " " Come on . Let's go get him. "
"Hey, watch it. Look where you run!"
" Why am I so weak? I hate this. "
" Hey, who are you? What happened? Why are you crying? "
" Hey, I asked a question. You should give someone an answer when they ask questions. "
"Your weird. "
" Here take this. I found it by the river bank. You been staring at it the whole time. Man up and stop crying. "
"Thank you "
Slam shut.
Creek " We are gonna beat you to pulp today. " " You think you can just run away like that. "
" Dude ,he got something in his hand."
" What's you got there? Well well, ain't that a beautiful stone. It matches your eyes . To bad we are taking it. "
' Child ' "S.. t. o.. p. ...gi... v.... e... it ...b.. a.. c.. k. "
"What was that loser? I can't hear you. "
"G... i.. v.... e....... " 'young child, you can get your revenge. '
"Serves you right . Stop shouting you wuss. "
"What is going on here? Is that boy again? "
"Hey you cowards, pick on someone your own size. "
" Who are you.... Playing the hero. Your gonna him soon. "
"Like you can. Come at me. " " Eren, you shouldn't get in trouble."
"You bought a girl with you. Another loser, let's get him. "
' Do you await for a saviour instead, child? '

Creak "Those bastards.. I will teach them a lesson next time. " "Eren" "What... Oh hey there again. This explains why you were crying earlier. Here, take my hand. "
"Th... e .....bl......ue... st....on...e... "
"What... Repeat that again. "
"The... blue... Stone... They.. Took.... It. "
"They did . We will go get back then...... Heyyy...he ran away. "
"That stone must be important to him, Eren. "
"I gave it to him this morning. "

Creak "Loser ,came to get some more ha . I told you we are keeping it. You better fight back if you want it."
"Why don't we just throw it away? It is just a colourful stone anyway." " Yeah ,your right."
"No..n...o...o" ' Child, do you not wish to be strong. '
"Stop it right there and hand over that over."
"Dam it ,it's that guy again. " "The girl is with him."
"That's right, you better run. "
"Hey you, what were you thing? "

Creek. My body fell down spat out by the darkness. Slam
As the door shut, I got up and saw the mysterious woman standing infront of me.
"You... You are that voice... "
"Yes, I am child. "
" Why can I see you now after all these time? "
"You have the answer to that ,young boy. "
I stood up slowly. Her eye never leaving me.
I was about to question her again but a strong pull stop me. My body raised from the pit of the and move upward. Hazy memories flash like lighting as I float.
"That was most brilliant. " "What a wuss? " " Hey, you are no better yourself. Stop putting other people down. "
"Hey what's That?... HEY ANSWER ME. "
" We are counting on you. "
" Your the only one who can get us of here. "
"Eren, do you know there is something call the ocean outside the wall. I would want to see it someday. "
" If you Haven't told the soldiers, we wouldn't be alive today. You saved us. "
" Your were always the smartest one. Getting us out of trouble. "
"The ocean... Does it truly exist? Man ,I want to see it too. "
"Armin, Stay safe . You were always like a brother to me. Take care of Mikasa. "
"Eren, Erennnnn... "
" Please Armin,...... " " Armin" " Armin"
" ARMIN " " ARMINNNN" With a jolt I woke up breathing heavily.
"Thank God, your awake Armin. " I turn to the person who awaken me.
"Jean ….What happened? "
Jean stared at me with a stoic face.
" Armin ,I am so sorry. You lost your right arm trying to protect me. " He said looking down. "You went unconscious after that."
I sat up finally in tuned with my surrounding. A gush of wind hit my face .My mouth tasted with blood.
" Where is Eren? What happened while I was unconscious? Jean, we are soldiers. This is bound to happened one way or the other. Don't be sorry. "
"I thank you for trying to save me risking your life. As for Eren ,somehow he managed to control the titans .They attacked Riener and Bertholdt.We barely managed to escape taking the chance we got but he lost conscious in between. As you can see the titan are chasing us ." A bump on a small rock refresh my senses and I was aware we were on a wagon.
" How many of us managed to survive?
"Not even half the troops made it. "
" That's how it is." I recall how I desperately clutch on Jean while fending of the titans. My comrades dying left and right. Blood painting the once beautiful Green forest. My arm bitten off . The face of a titan in front of me before I lose conscious.
' For a glimpse of hope. So, that's what she meant. ' My thought interrupted by Mikasa hugging me.
" Armin, your awake. "
" Mikasa, I can't breath. "
" I am sorry. " She released me of her tight grip. "I managed to bandage your arm with whatever I can find. " Mikasa added. I gave her a warm smile.
" Thank you for that. " Turning my head to Eren laying peacefully next to me.
" Is Eren hurt? "
" No, he is just exhausted. He would recover just fine but the threat still lies ahead of us. Reiner and Bertholdt will do anything to get Eren. "
I look around my surrounding. Soldiers riding on horses and wagon at their full speed.
" How far are we from the nearest wall?"
" Quite far... But we could make it there in about two hour time . " Mikasa answer my question.
" But, the problem lies with the titans. They are catching up really fast. I hope they just give up already. " Jean added.
Just then ,amongst the tree a titan came out and slams it's hand on a wagon crushing the soldiers riding it. The titan now sets his eyes on us.
" Damm it. Connie ride faster. " Jean shouted at our driver.
" The horse has his limit ,Jean. "Connie shouted back .
" This is the fastest he would ever go. "
Taking in a huge breath and I consider the options .I relief my myself breathing out.
"The titans are gaining on us .Dam it .do something ." Jean exclaimed horrified at the titan just a few meters away form us.
I pulled out my black string and held it tightly. Dusk approaches as time by. The titan getting closer every troubled heartbeat . Soldiers around us rode as fast as they could. As if the titans chasing behind us was not enough, a hordes of titan block the front rider almost smashing it. " An abnormal... " a random shout from amongst the soldiers. The titans surrounding us like a rat trapped in a corner.
I feel a tug on my shirt.
"Eren.. "
" Armin.. What's going on? "
" We were escaping but not anymore. "
The horde of titan increased every troubled heartbeat. Eren sat up besides me. His eyes widening, he said
" Armin your arm. "
" I know. Eren, look in front of you. We have a situation in our hand. "
Getting out of his dazed stage, Eren look around the field. Titans swarming at us.
Our sword dull, body filled with injury,soldiers fought back gallantly in hopes of getting away. But alas, it was but in vain for soldiers were squashed like flies,butchered like pigs. A stray titan hands almost at smashing us. Barely, did we escape it. However, I do not know how long we can hold up in these manner.
"Armin ,go with Eren and the commander. I will try, to clear a path. "Mikasa in her weakened stated suggested .
"NO, Mikasa that is impossible! "
" I will make it possible. "
" No,we will not leave you. Besides that's a reckless plan bound to fail."
" Mikasa ,don't be crazy. I will be damned if i lose you. Did i not tell you i would wrapped that scarf around you as much as i want . "Eren shouted at her .
"Eren..."
An unforseen titan hand swung our way. Mikasa quickly push me and Eren aside sacrificing herself. I look horrified at what happen. The sounds of dying soldiers in the background barely audible as I once again watch them die helplessly. My comrades all captured by the titans about to gulp them down as if our retaliation was futile. The scene so familiar, so distasteful.
" No, Nooooo..... Not again. "
Eren hitting his hand furiously but to no avail.
"NO, NO, NO... my friends.... " I clutch my hand tightly.
' Now, what would you like To do child .' A familiar voice rung through my head.
"Give me the power you spoke of." As I demanded, I was pulled back to that familiar dark pit of water. Her glowing skin still illuminating it.
' Very well you have choose to gain the forbidden power. Now, shall you be granted of it but a greater price awaits you .' She continues.
" Yes, I know and I am willing to pay for it. My close friends, whom I considered my very last family. I want to protect them. "
' As you wish. '
In a flash, her beautiful gown turn into a fish scale. A strange creature of beauty stood in front of me.
A small whirlwind on her hand ,which she Blew at me. My body sucks into it. I gasped for air desperately. But, I was able to breath in a second as it parts itself .I could feel power entering me from it. I felt very strong for the first time. My leg disappeared ,exchanged by a fin. My ears widen making me hear more clearly. My Blond hair mixed with red hair framed itself with care . The blue ruby forged on my for head in an uncanny shape. My right arm that was bitten off replaced with strange green plant that crawl up to me ,i believe i once read it to be called seaweed in a book. As my mysterious transformation into a half fish, half human completes, the whirlwind quietens down. The next thing I knew, I was on the solemn battlefield fill with death. The whirlwind calm down, water flowing from it and lay beneath me. Smell of death awoken my senses . With anger, I shouted and commanded the water around me to attack. In a flash, huge waved fill the battlefield. My comrades safety washed towards me. The titans tore into pieces by the salty water. It return to me after fulfilling my commanded.
Spiting out water, Mikasa looked at me " Armin, is that you? What happened to you?. "
I just smile at her. The rest of the soldiers woke up from that strange occurrence.
" Mikasa, Your always been like a sister to me. You have always protected me. I always wish I could have protected you too even if just for once. Now, I have. Now, before the rest of the titans rushed here. Leave ,all of you. "
Eren in his dazed stage open his eyes and stared at me.
" Armin ,what are you saying? We can all go.
" I am sorry Eren, but I cannot anymore. Stay safe and for the sake of humanity. I put my whole faith on you, my friend. "
Eren stood up angrily and shouted " Shut up Armin, no one is getting left behind. Everyone died there in the forests trying to save me. I will damn if I lose you or Mikasa. "
' You have little time, young boy.' That dreadful voice that reminds me for my fate. As it does,hordes of titans once again starts to fill in
" Eren, hurry... I will hold them off
" Armin, no we will not leave you behind."
"Eren,these isn't the time for this. "
"Your our last hope. You need to get back to the Walls .All of you listen to me and hurry up. " " As much as I hate to say this, he is right. We have no choice but to run. " Erwin calmly said leaning on a small tree. " Commander, how could you? " Eren shouted. " Eren, calm down.. But your our only hope for saving humanity. So we have to leave. Armin, I couldn't repay you back. But I swore I will respect your last wish. " Jean exclaimed.
As the titans close by, I turn back to them " Now go.... " " Nooo... " Eren shouted desperately as he was drag by Jean. A single tear fell down on Mikasa cheek. " Armin, you have always been like a brother to me too. I wish I could be the one in your place. " " No, I would never let that happen. " They hull in quickly on the last remaining horses. I commanded the water to block the titans to buy them as much as time needed.
Riding along the green field, Eren shouted to let go of him. Tears fill in his eyes, as he was once again forced to watch the death of his loved ones. Slowly, my conscious was beginning to fade away as I tear down the titans. Chunk of my left arm turn into water. " So, this is it. " I turn to watch them leave. My eyes met of those Green beautiful eyes of Eren. Half my body turn into water.
' The price of your wish is your soul. '
I muster one last smile as I saw them rode to the walls,before the water wall around me fell apart and a titan tore through my body spilling water everywhere.
" What are you looking at? " "Nothing, just the sunset." "The sunset ha .Hey wanna be friends." "Aren't you going to answer me? " "Thank you for helping me back then. I was hoping someday I could see the outside world. There are so many things I like to see for myself like the sea ." "If it is really out there, I would like to see it. No,we have to go see it . " A simple answer that bring a smile on my face. "Yeah,we have to."With a shiny blue stone clutch on my hand.
" My name is Eren." "Armin"
