"Find him!!" A loud woman's voice bellowed from the throne room which was lined with guards on each wall. Each guard was either dressed in a red or black armour piece, a heart, spade, or a club was present on their chests and the backs of the armour chest piece. The woman who was behind that voice was non other than the Queen of hearts herself. Levi Ackerman was being charged for high treason and stealing, which in the Kingdom of Hearts meant the punishment was beheading. Though.. there was something that the Queen and the guards didn't know was the he had a partner, Erwin Smith. The two were also working together with the Mad Hatter.
Together, the three were trying to save the kingdom of the Queen of Hearts' tyrannical reign that she had on the kingdom. The White Queen, also known as the Good Queen had once ruled over the entire land, including her own. Her sister was filled with rage and envy of her sister's success.. why couldn't she have that kind of success too?
That was what lead everything to the events that were happening now. Levi Ackerman was running through the thick, dense woods with his partner in crime, Erwin Smith. The tall blonde held a satchel of various royal things including the Queen's crown, a few jewels and a spell book. Sure, the White Queen had a spell book, but this was different. It had dark magic spells instead of her normal good spells. The Mad Hatter could also use them, though it might not be such a good idea letting the Hatter be by himself with a spell book and chemicals.
The forest trees that were packed together made it quite difficult for the pair to scramble their ways through the trees. Clothing being caught against loose branches, getting scratched, stumbling over thick and big roots that protruded from the forest floor, and the lack of sunlight since the tops of the trees made it look like the Amazon Rainforest.
Sitting behind all of this was the Queen of hearts castle. It sat tall above everything, sun glistening off of the many windows that could be seen from afar. The spires that came off of the tops in some places could also be recognized, the main thing about the large palace, though, was the colour. It was a deep red, black in some places. No white to be seen. She despised the colour white.
"Erwin! The White Rabbit is jut over there! Give the bag to him and relay the message to the White Queen!" Levi yelled, jumping hurdle style over a large and thick root that dared tripped anyone if they weren't looking. Hell, it almost tripped the two while they jumped and dodged.
Erwin nodded and ducked off into a separate direction than where the raven was heading and soon disappeared into the foliage of the trees. Levi trusted that Erwin would return to his side once he had down the business that he had told him to do was nothing less of present. He trusted Erwin with his life, after all, the two had a pair of silver wedding bands on their ring fingers. They were to get married in two weeks if nothing stopped them.
Finally, the inevitable happened. Levi felt his shoes get caught on one of the loose branches that hung low and near the ground. The rose bushes that harbored sharp thorns had somehow started to seem to get closer. The bushes were going close to the small male's body. "Oh hell no." Levi reaches into his pocket, pulling out a shard of glass aside, it wasn't much, but it was a quite long piece and it was all he had at the moment.
To no avail, Levi tried backing up so that he could mentally prepare himself for a moment. He lunged forward and swung at the bushes that seemingly cooled around him like a constricting snake would when trying to kill its prey.
"Get back!" He yelled and cut the shrubbery off of his ankles, getting his sore body up in record time when blood had slowly started to trip from his ankles in small bits. No major cuts, but it did hurt nonetheless. The voices of the guards grew closer and closer every time that he stopped, Levi swore that you could hear his heart beat from three miles away it was beating that loudly. He inhaled deep and quick, doing the same once he exhaled.
The sun that had barley peeled through the trees before had now become the only thing that was overhead. Flowers and grass rose high in the meadow that Levi now found himself standing in. Oh god.. Erwin please be quick. Those six words were the only things that he could think of right now. The only that kept the guards from getting Levi at that exact moment was a shrinking position that he had attached to his hip by a rope. Erwin was the one with the turn; earlier the blonde even offered a gun to the raven to which he denied. Now that he stood paranoid in the field he cursed at his stupidity at rejecting the offer.
"You there!" Guards had finally caught up to Levi. Oh god was this going to be how he died? He didn't want to killed in a field without his fiancé next to him, he wasn't ready to leave yet.
A heavy wave of adrenaline kicked in. Senses were heightened and it felt like he was going to out from the sudden dose of excitement. It was a lot happening at once. On the inside Levi was burning with excitement and a desire to see blood spilled on the perfectly green coloured grass, but on the outside the runaway had kept a calm facade. Lips pursed into a thin line as he watched the guards file into a line along the trees, the only form of defense that they had was their red spear-like rods that were pointed with sharp heart ends.
"What? Are the Queen's dogs responding to her every will again?" Levi scoffed. "Pathetic." The male dared to try the guards, he knew damn well that he had the chances of getting killed right then and there, but he decided to try his luck. After all, he had the shrinking potion on him so he wasn't completely in the mud yet.
"Levi Ackerman, you are being sentenced to death on two s of high treason, and three s of theft from the Royal Highness Queen of Hearts." The head guard stepped out in front of everyone and spoke. Levi has always had fun playing around with the guards, especially this one.
"Even though hat sounds fun and all boys.." Levi sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "I'm going to have to decline." The small raven had a second trick up his sleeve. He grabbed the shrinking potion off of his waist and drank it, only to whistle loudly after. What was that whistle intended for?
The Jabberwocky.
The dragon would be coming shortly and coming to rescue Levi Ackerman from the clutches of the Queen of Hearts' guards that threatened his life. It was going to take a lot more than a few guards sending threats his way to make him scared. Levi cheekily waves as he suddenly grew shorter. Thankfully, over the years they had been able to perfect the potion so that the clothes would also shrink with the body.
A blood-curtailing scream rang out from the air just as Levi had finished shrinking. A coy smirk came across his lips as he looked up. There was the Jabberwocky that hovered over the green and yellow coloured trees. Levi whistled again, though this time it was much more quiet, the dragon above was able to hear it.
Erwin was already heading to the clearing. He had heard the scream from the dragon knowing that Levi had already called it. The blonde male had gave the White Rabbit the bag of valuables, told him to quickly get it to the White Queen and make sure that he wasn't caught. He had started to dead sprint now, seeing the clearing up ahead. Here we go. Erwin grabbed a gun off of his hip which was holstered and aimed it at the back of one of the guards, placing his finger on the trigger.
BANG!
The loud echo rang out through the quiet forest. Erwin soon jumped over the now dead body that slid limp on the meadow floor, the grass and flowers nearly swallowing his body a bit. He hopped up on the dragon that was currently death glaring the guards and hissing loudly. Levi was sitting on the head, the reigns around its mouth coming and laying against the back of the Jabberwocky's neck.
"Suckers!" Erwin yelled before whipping the reigns and steadying himself, making sure that he didn't fall and making sure Levi didn't either.
The pair laughed. They'd just gotten away with their heist and they'd hopefully have the stole royal valuables to their rightful queen sooner or later. It had been a few minutes and the dragon was up in the air, Levi holding tightly onto Erwin's waist with his face nuzzled up against the back of his neck. Erwin chuckled.
"Glad to see me?" His voice was soft, yet it had a sort of commanding hint to it. All the while the words reverberated through his chest. How Levi had been able to snag someone such as Erwin Smith was beyond him, but he never questioned more than he needed.
"You don't even know, I was starting to think the rose bushes got to you." Levi replied, his tone was annoyed and relieved at the same time if that was possible. He wasn't going to lose this man, not now, not ever. Levi wouldn't allow it. He would tear down the entire kingdom looking for him, Erwin meant the world to him.
Erwin snorted. "Oh come on," he turned around and wrapped an arm around Levi's waist for a quick moment. "Who do you think I am? I'm Erwin Smith," he hummed. "I'm also your fiancé." He leaned back a bit and placed a gentle and tender kiss to his lover's cheek, a silly smile coming over his own more red stained lips.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't let your fucking ego get out of hand there, Mr. Smith." Levi rolled his eyes and relaxed against his fiancé's back. He truly was only content when he had him by his side.

The White Queen smiled, she was mixing together a potion that would transform any who drank it into a small kitten. They would be rendered harmless and basically immobile. Levi and Erwin would be sent to the Red Queen’s kingdom once again for them to finally finish what had been started so long ago. The only thing was, the wedding was coming up. And it was coming up rather quickly. There was only three days left until the wedding was going to take place in the White kingdom at the palace, the two were still working a few things out, but for the majority everything was already planned and they had everything prepared. They had a caterer, a priest, a place where the ceremony would take place, the flowers, the aesthetic, the guests and they even had the time of day and date. Invitations were sent out four months ago, giving everyone time to prepare and get everything that they needed ready. Levi had picked out his suit, along with Erwin. They both were stunning. Levi’s suit was white with a black bow tie, white jacket and silk shirt, white pants and a pair of black Louboutins- the bottoms a bright blood red. Erwin’s wedding suit consisted of a white bow tie, a black suit and black silk shirt, a pair of black pants and a pair of black red-bottomed Louboutins as well.
There would be guards holding the event so that there would be no interruptions during the ceremony. Tonight as going to be the practice dinner, so everyone that was planning on coming to the wedding had to be there. When the third day finally came around, it was going to be the happiest day of Levi and Erwin’s life.
“Erwin,” Levi started. “Do you think that we can finally have quiet once we’re married?” Levi was tired, yes, having the life of excitement was fun and all, but it was also trying. The two men were also slowly growing older. Levi turning 32 soon and Erwin 31.
“I don’t know. Well never have true peace again, you know that. I’m sure it’ll be more quiet and relaxed than it is now. We wont be running around like chickens with their heads cut off.” A light sigh ed his lips. The taller of the two leaned down a bit and placed a quick, gentle kiss on his fiancé’s lips.
The practice dinner went off beautifully, everyone followed the orders and did as directed. The food was delicious and it was sweet. The Mad Hatter, Hanji, the White Rabbit, Armin, Jean, Mike, the White Queen and the Cheshire came. Though that was only the few known names that attended, much more guests arrived a bit later rather than sooner.
The next few days before the wedding spent getting everything in order and making sure that the palace’s courtyard looked beautiful. Of course, the aesthetic of the wedding was white. The roses that say upon every table were white, the table cloths were a light gray as an exception to Erwin and the dress code was black or gray. Only Levi could wear white - as well as the queen- because attention would be solely on Levi and his soon-to-be husband. Everything was perfect. The caterer had arrived early so as to set up the food for the reception afterwards and the florist came to decorate the venue with their white roses.
Everything was going swimmingly except for one thing. Erwin was missing. Erwin Smith was missing on the day of their wedding.
“Maybe he just went for a walk, dear.” The White Queen spoke with her soft tone, yet a bit of reassurance behind the words.
Levi was nervously pacing back and forth, hoping that his lover was alright and that he did just step outside for some fresh air. The raven couldn’t keep still, he tried calling Erwin to which the phone immediately went to voicemail, he tried looking for him in all of the places that he knew were Erwin’s favourites to go and relax or to go and be alone in. When he wasn’t in any of those places that’s when Levi started to get a little freaked out.
“Erwin tells me when he’s going to go somewhere quiet. He never leaves to go anywhere without telling me he’s going somewhere or at least saying goodbye to me.” He took a deep breath and quickened his pace as he walked back and forth inside of the palace.
The White Queen bent down a bit and whispered something in a bloodhound’s ear. Levi recognized the dog immediately, it was Bayard. He was a brown bloodhound that owned a black collar proudly showing his name. The dog nodded before sniffing Levi, picking up Erwin’s scent and darted off in a direction that pointed towards the gates that separated the two kingdoms— red and white. Levi looked up a bit, there was a gray and turquoise cat that was floating around the queen’s head, more specifically only the head of the cat was able to be seen.
“Cheshire,” Levi started. “Have you seen Erwin recently?”
“I have.” The cat’s tone was a sort of mysterious, quiet one. It wasn’t loud, nor was it quiet, but it did set off a sort of unnerving feeling in the raven’s stomach. Something sank inside of him.
“Where is he? Why isn’t he here? Does he not want to get married?”
The Cheshire chuckled before making the rest of his body appear, now he was next to Levi floating a few feet in centimeters of him. He was floating in a circle. “The Queen of Hearts has him in holding. The guards found Erwin this morning while he was going on a walk.”
Levi stood quiet. He couldn’t believe it, his true love, his fiancé and almost husband was being held in the Queen of Hearts’ palace. The male knew damn well Erwin wasn’t going. to say anything that the queen wanted to hear.
“Bayard has been sent to track where Erwin’s smell leads. Cheshire, do you mind telling us when you saw him disappear?”
“Oh I believe I saw the guards take him at around 7:00. He was in the gardens that are near the gates.”
Levi was already running to their house. He was dead sprinting just like he was in the forest, bursting inside of the unlocked front door. Immediately stripping down from his suit and bow tie, slipping on a pair of black jeans, a white shirt that had thin black lines going down, a pair of black leather gloves, his black shoes and to top it all off he had a black tie. There was no way in hell he was going to let Erwin be alone in that treacherous kingdom.
He grabbed a white horse that was sitting in their horse pen behind their house. Erwin owned a black horse while Levi owned a beautiful white stallion. “Erwin, I’m coming.”
—
Erwin was sitting in the dungeon that was far below the palace of the Red Queen. Well- he wasn’t really sitting, more like trying to ram the bars of tree door so that he could get out. His black suit was all dirty and even had a few rips by now, great.
This suit cost me $3,000.
After about 10 more minutes of waiting, guards finally descended down the cold, stone stairs of the dungeon. One set of stairs led down to where Erwin was being held.
“Unhand me!” Erwin shouted, guards grabbing his arms and pushing him out of the cell. Two guards held his arms which had handcuffs around his wrists and one more guard was pushing him. He growled, trying to swing his hands to land a punch on at least one of the guards. Each time he received a shock, one of the guards was holding a shocker device.
The blonde knew what was going to happen next. He knew why he was going to be taken upstairs, he refused to talk. Erwin knew that if he didn’t start talking soon then he’d be in danger of losing his life, but he didn’t want the White Queen, Levi or any of their friends to be in danger. He wouldn’t talk even if it meant his life.
“You bastards, I said unhand me!” This time Erwin nearly yelled, his voice was raised quite loudly. He was brought into the throne room, the queen sitting in her throne. Her feet were propped up under a pig’s belly. As she used to say “I do like a warm pig belly for my feet.”
Erwin thrashed around in the guards’ holds. He was forced down onto his knees, arms behind his back while he was made to watch the queen. Adrenaline was definitely coursing through his veins. It was hard to keep his breathing steady and calm as he narrowing his eyes and glared at the Queen of Hearts. He despised her very being and presence.
“Where is my crown and belongings, Mr. Smith? And where’s your fiancé? I’m sure he’s worried dead about you.” The queen laughed manically, it almost scared Erwin honestly.
“None of your business.” Erwin growled, snapping back almost immediately.
Right as the short lady with the big head stood up, the main doors opened. Levi was standing there was a gun in one hand and a sharp sword in the other. It was dead silent in the room, only four words being said aloud in the silence. A terrified and sad Ackerman watching idly as guards came his way. Erwin had tears going down his cheeks now.
“Off with his head.”
