Determination

I hope I'm not too late! But this is my entree for the Training days challenge! I am on a ATO Olympics team! (Survey Corps!) #TrainingDays

But I wrote a short story about Hanji! Enjoy!

Hanji sighed as she entered her cabin. She was alone because everyone else was eating. She had just gotten back from a long day of training. She’d never really talk to most people and preferred to get her meals when people were finishing eating. You could say she was an outsider.

But she did have a valid reason. See people always called her weird or just hyper. Mainly because she has a driving ion to kill all the titans. She wanted to get out in the open and make sure that they didn’t hurt any citizens. She wanted to protect people.

But most of her fellow trainee’s saw basically a psycho. She had started to wonder if that was true. If they were right and that she was going nuts and becoming too obsessed.

She sighed. She had started to see titans in a different way. From what she’s been taught people didn’t know that much about titans. She wondered if people even knew how they worked. All they really knew is how to kill them and what works against them.

She thought more about it and eventually decided that she had a new goal. Humanity needed more information on titans if they wanted to survive! And she would be the one to make sure they got that information! She would risk her life if she had to!

Those titans didn’t scare her! They weren’t superior to her! She would make sure she kept people safe and get more information humanity could use against them! No matter what! She would do everything she could to make sure humanity would survive!

She stood up and went outside her cabin. Maybe she'd try to go eat with the other trainee’s. Who knows maybe some of them would share her determination. Or at least some of it.

She smiled as she started to walk. She now could say something to the people who talked about her behind her back. She had a reason now! Two reasons! And they were both good enough to explain her hyperness!

And if they didn't accept it well she'd be more than happy to take on the title of being weird. It's not like it really affected her. Besides some of them didn't even want to help people and those ones are the real weird ones. In her eyes at least.

But Hanji knew something. She now had two reasons to work extra hard to get in the top ten. And that was good enough for her. Maybe her determination would get her somewhere in this world.

And with that thought in mind she started to walk to were everyone else had gathered to eat. Maybe one day someone would understand her determination.
