Timeskips» Indoors to the forest a couple of months later. Thought it might be a bit confusing.

She needs to get better. No, she has to get better. If she doesn’t want to be as weak and pathetic as her comrades, she has to get better at this. Don’t get her wrong, she loved all her comrades to death but, seeing them go from titans just enraged her. Rico glared at the dummy, quickly taking out the dual wield swords, and dashed towards it. Hannes and Pixis, together, they were like a family. They could depend on one another, protect one another, and did everything a normal family would do. It was their own little world where titans no longer exist and they could live in peace. No more bloodshed, no more losing the people you loved, no more jobs that could could kill 99% of the people who applied. That can’t be realistic, right? She needed a wakeup call from the unbelievable dream she was in and that was exactly what they given her. A wakeup call. A slap of what reality really is and what it can do. She aimed the grappling hooks and fired it, wrapping it around beam and swung her around to the back. Gripping the swords a bit harder, she sliced its neck, watching the head slowly slide off and hit the ground. Yeah, about the ground, why wasn’t Rico feeling the ground? Rico tried everything to get down, she even pressed the emergency button to call back in the grappling hooks. Nothing worked. She sighed, letting her body go limp in defeat as she hanged there; barely able to touch the ground.

Rico stared at the large footprint embedded in the ground, the blood stains barely visible now. The blood of her comrades. She choked out a small cry, trying to hold back the tears threatening to fall from her eyes. “D...Damn titans..” She murmured, wiping the tears with her sleeve. She wasn’t here to cry, she was here to train. Get it together, Rico. Taking a wobbly step, she dashed towards the platform where the dummy was held; trying to the steps to take during the training. Running at high speeds, check. Object for the grappling hook can cling onto, check. Now, let’s get this show on the road. Rico aimed the grappling device and fired it, wrapping it around the large tree branch. She jumped up, pulling in the wire; swinging her in the air. Rico took out the dual wield swords, locking onto her target, and sliced the back of its neck. This time, no accidents with the grappling hooks. That’s good but, there’s still a lot of work for Rico to do to even be able to come up to the level of her own expectations of herself.
