Im making this poll to see what idea people think would be cool to see in AOT Story/fanfic (Note: Im doing several story's in similar settings so i may not go with the option people think off but i think both ideas are cool at least to me)
Both setting set in the modern era
Story setting A: Eldia and Marley have been locked in a war for generations, both stuck in a loop of advancements where one nation would advance their military's and gain some ground before the other came up with countermeasures and preformed some type of counterattack to reclaim the lost lands, Eren Yeager was young when his mother was killed by an airstrike conducted during an air raid on Shiganshina, this was the catalyst to Erens hatred of Marley and Marleyans leading to his enlistment into the Eldian army alongside his closest friends Armin Arlet and Mikasa Ackerman. (This one will be explained in a poorer manner this one is more simple than B)
Story setting B: Marley has won its war against the island of Paradis but instead of eradicating the Eldian people of Paradis, they subjected them, Marley now ruled the island of Paradis and flaunted their achievement of wiping out the remnants of the Eldian empire. Marley and the rest of the world advanced quickly towards what for us is the modern era. Marley grew to be prosperous world power but it wasn't without issues as several country's that were subjugated began to rise up in insurgencies, but many failed and due to their failure no one dared to rise up. Except for the Eldians of Paradis. An unknown group of Eldian insurgents at the time would conduct an extremely well-coordinated series of actions that caused havoc for the Marleyans security forces, during the havoc insurgents broke into police stations and lightly defended barracks stealing guns and equipment, destroying key information infrastructure and military targets. This gave the insurgents enough time to retreat from their engagements and re organise as the Eldian Liberation Front (E.L.F). This group was separated into three main units with their own sub sections: The Military Police Brigade, this unit was used as a police/intelligence force, The garrison Brigade, the main military wing of the E.L.F was the garrison brigade who's purpose was to engage the Marleyan security forces on the island of Paradis in Asymmetric warfare and last but not least, the Survey Regiment, this was a special regiment that had a unique purpose, operate on enemy land and conduct special military operations from sabotage to assassinations. Eren Yeager grew up on Paradis under Marley occupation, he was brought up to be raised as a proud Eldian by his parents, being raised this way was large part of Eren's personality and lead to him eventually ing the E.L.F when he was older after the death of his mother and disappearance of his father.
