It was a nice summer afternoon. Jean and Marco were watching the dolphins jump out of the ocean. Marco looked at the sky and tapped Jean to look up with him to see the sunset.
Jean: This is beautiful watching the sunset.
Marco: Don't forget watching the dolphins.
Jean: That too, but being with you makes it beautiful.
Marco blushed.
Marco: What do you mean?
Jean: Look Marco, I want to be with you.
Jean grabbed two amulets out of his pocket and puts one on Marco.
Marco: Wh-what is this Jean?
Jean: It's an amulet to our love for each other.
Marco looked at the amulet while Jean puts his on. They both looked at each other and the amulets clicked together. A white light sparked and glowed from the amulets. They looked at the amulets.
Marco: Are the amulets suppose to glow?
Jean: I don't know but we shouldn't worry about it now let's go to bed.
They walked to their tents that was on the beach and slept.The amulets grew brighter.
The next morning...
Jean woke up before Marco did, and watched the sunrise. Jean looked at the ocean splash onto the rocks and heard something in the ocean. He felt he heard as if a girl was singing. Jean followed the song and it lead into the ocean. Marco woke up and heard it too and followed it. Marco saw Jean and listen to the song.
Marco: Should we swim to the noise Jean?
Jean looked at Marco and the amulets started to glow.
Jean: I think we should.
Both of them swam off and the waves got stronger pushing them away from the noise. The amulets clicked together and the glow grew brighter and before.
Jean: The hell is happening to the amulets?
Marco: I don't know...
Jean and Marco suddenly gets pushed underwater. They tried to swim up but can't because of the waves hitting them.
Jean: Marco...
Marco: Yes, Jean...
They swallowed the salt water and they start to glow with the amulets.
Jean and Marco: What's happening to us?
The waves started to clam down. Their legs become tails before their very eyes. They're amazed of what they think they're becoming. Gills began to from.
Marco: Are you thinking that we are becoming...
Jean: Mermen...I believe so.
Marco looked at his light blue/green tail and gets excited. Jean looked at his reddish tail.
Jean: Um, Marco why are you excited about being a merman?
Marco: Me, I'm not excited, I'm more surprised.
Jean: Well we should turn back to humans.
Marco: Shouldn't we find where the noise is coming from?
Jean: Oh yeah, I almost forgot.
They followed the noise and saw a little girl singing for help. They looked at her closer and she was suck under boards from a old ship. Jean grabbed a board and Marco gently takes her out of the old ship. Jean and Marco looked at her and saw she had a tail.
Marco: She a mermaid.
Jean: I can see that.
???: Thanks for helping me mermen. I'm Lucky.
Jean and Marco looked at her.
Jean: Can you help us turn back to humans.
Lucky: Pff....of course I can. Your the humans who found the amulets.
Marco: Well Jean found them.
Lucky: The amulets you are wearing turns you into a merman/mermaid, but there is only one way to turn you back.
Jean and Marco: What is it?
Lucky: Your not going to like it.
Jean and Marco: Just tell us!
Lucky: Fine, you guys will have to kiss each other.
Jean grabbed Marco and kissed him on the lips. Marco blushed. The amulets shined and turned Jean and Marco back to humans. They swim back up for fresh air and swam to the beach.
Jean: Let's never become Mermen again.
Marco: Ok, but can I have another kiss?
Jean paused and blushed.
Jean: Sure.
Marco leans in closer to Jean and kissed him on the lips.
