Why do you want to this group?

I would like to this group because it seems like a good moderating job. I don’t have a lot of experience with moderating content, so I would like to gain some. And, I would of course like to help prevent inappropriate content, or content that simply disregards the guidelines, being posted.

My timezone is GMT+0. I’ve been on this app everyday since I ed it, my check in streak is up to date with my days.

How well do you know the [Guidelines]?

I know them quite well. They’re pretty simple in my opinion, couldn’t be that hard to them all.

Would you flag friends if they broke the [Guidelines]?

Unfortunately for them, yes I would. If the content they’ve posted goes against the Guidelines, it needs to be corrected. I would give them a nudge to fix it first, but if they don’t do it quickly I would flag them. And of course, if the content is just that appauling, I would flag it as soon as I saw it.

What can you bring to the team?

I can bring professionalism and a good vibe!

1. Provide 3 examples of content that can be flagged

If the content includes NSFW/18+ content, it should be flagged. This type of content is strictly against the Guidelines.

If it is writing, an edit, art, or other, that contains NSFW content, the post should be flagged. It’s really a simple rule to follow.

Personal information is a no-go. Content providing home addresses, email-addresses, phone numbers, bank card details, school names, and/or specific locations, should be flagged and disabled. This rule is set to protect the of this Amino, so disabling the post is a way of trying to keep the creator of said post safe.

Plagerism or content theft (art, writing, edit, claiming something as your own when it is somebody else’s work), should be flagged and warned. I’ve seen s send helpful reminders in the comments to either credit the original artist or provide evidence that this content is the creator’s own. If this is not done within 24 hours, the post will be disabled.

2. How do you flag?

There’s three dots in the top right corner of a post. Tap on that, and then flag for review. If you’re flagging a message, hold down on that message and flag it.

3. Do you need to flag plagiarized content?

Absolutely. It’s not fair on the artist who worked hard on their content, and then someone just steals it and claims it as theirs.

4. Is sharing personal information allowed? If yes, where and what kind of?

Some personal information is alright - name, age, continent, timezone, vague information. As I mentioned before, personal information that could possibly make the creator unsafe should be flagged.

5. You see people posting inappropriate content, what do you do?

I report the content! I don’t believe I’ve ever flagged a post of a profile, or even a chatroom, but I will start doing so for this group!
