Hally’s Story (Chapter 3: Lies and Deception)

It wasn’t long before Tosen went to go check on Hally and explain that she was to head to the throne room to meet Lord Aizen. She agreed and soon followed Tosen towards the room. She followed him and he explained to her that she must bow before Aizen, the new ruler of hueco mundo to show respect. She calmly agreed with him.

Soon she entered the throne room and bowed before Aizen as he smiled at her. “You may stand up “ he said calmly as Hally stood up. His voice was very soft and kind. It was very strange to be honest. “Halliera I must express my condolences for the loss of your comrades. Unfortunately by the time I sensed the attack I was to late to save them. I can’t imagine this is easy for you and I assume you have lots of questions. “ he said. It honestly sounded like he genuinely cared about Hally and what happened to her. “It looks like you are healing quite well. How do you feel? How is your pain? He asked her.

Why didn’t she go with him the first time when he offered? Why did she refuse? Although he was a former Shinigami he was different. “Thank you my lord. And yes I do have questions. Many my lord. I am feeling a lot better. The pain isn’t too bad“ she said and looked at him. She was honestly drawn in by his charm and charisma. It was almost spellbinding like she couldn’t look away from him. She stared at Aizen as she tried to keep her emotions at bay.

She wanted to cry at the thought of her comrades. It wasn’t her physical pain that was bad it was her emotional pain. The loss of her comrades. It was devastating. She took in a deep breath and tried to calm herself but she was definitely on edge. She managed to glance around a bit to see Gin standing there looking at her with a smirk. The guy was honestly creepy. That much she could tell. She quickly turned her attention back to Aizen. “Lord Aizen I thank you for saving my life. I should have listened to you. You tried to warn me”

Aizen simply smiled at her. “I’m glad you are healing nicely. You had me worried for a while. It was very touch and go as to whether you were going to survive those injuries.” He said to her as if he actually cared about her suffering.

“This place is your home now. I expect you will make yourself comfortable and both Gin and Tosen can help you with anything you need. You may take the rest of the day to explore Las Noches castle and get used to the new environment. Dinner will be at 6 sharp. I will have Tosen come get you when it’s time. I would like you to get some rest tonight as tomorrow will be a very important day. Tomorrow we will discuss your place in the espada. I see huge potential from you. “ he said knowing full well that she wouldn’t be able to turn the offer down. “Being part of the espada will help make sure you can properly protect your new comrades. ” he explained.

He then stood up from his throne and slowly walked towards her. “And Halliera” He could see the tears welling up in her eyes as he quickly wiped them away. “I promise you as long as you follow me I will never let harm like that come to any of your comrades ever again. I promise I will keep you safe and protect you. I promise you will never suffer like this again“ he said and then walked away sitting back down in his throne. “Gin. Show her around Las Noches and make sure the other arrancar and espada give her a warm welcome and to make sure they don’t try anything they shouldn’t “ he said seriously. “Halliera. Some of the other arrancar can be quite blood thirsty and ruthless. You must understand as they were just regular hollows at one point until I made them into arrancars. That I will explain tomorrow at the meeting. “ he said. “Gin will keep you safe”

“I understand my lord. Thank you for the warning” She somehow believed him. She believed ever word that he said. She felt as if she was safe. As if he wouldn’t let anything terrible happen to her again. She was willing to follow him. She was honestly willing to do anything for him. After all he saved her life and he would have saved her comrades if he had made it in time. That’s what she believed anyway. So she owed him her life.
