Zombie hunters ep-2: "Signs"

The sky looked sick.

No birds singing. Clouds hanging heavy like they're waiting to fall. Air? Thick. Uncomfortable. Like Dhaka forgot how to breathe. Everyone felt it, even if they didn’t say it out loud.

Evie: [sends pic]

Jiro:

Jiro:

Aoi ed the GC with a single word.

- “zombies?”

Jazz finally typed again.

- “y’all ever think maybe we joke about the end of the world because deep down we know it’s possible?”

Everyone paused.

Sid:

“we either die or become main characters. no in between.”

Jiro:

>“ok but if a virus mutates for real… we all meeting up right?”

Troyee:

“u think i’m surviving Narayanganj traffic for y’all?”

Grizz:

"If the zombies come, I’ll just drive my truck into the heart of Dhaka. All y’all hop in and lessgo."

Everyone laughed for a second, but the laughter felt hollow. Like something was missing.

Leah:

“yall building the cast already ?”

Yui:

“dibs on being the girl who turns hot and crazy when infected”

Yuki suddenly ed. First time in weeks.

- “what the hell did i just wake up to”

Leah, in her usual brainrot mood:

"Once zombie hunters start killing zombies, they’ll probably end up at Shahbagh protesting for zombie rights, asking why no one respects their lives. 🙄"

Scene cut: 5:43 PM | Dhaka Medical, Emergency Unit

Nurse Rehana froze mid-step.

A woman was brought in. Mid 30s. Blood on her clothes. Blank stare. Arms twitching.

Doctor:

"Ma’am, what happened to your baby?"

She didn’t reply.

She just stared. And then started screaming. Animalistic. Like her throat was tearing

A nurse backed away, whispering, "Something’s wrong with her eyes. They’re... grey."

Lights flickered.

Then she stood up.

Gc : last seen 9:43

Jane:

> “yo me, jiro, moon, grizz planning to meet tmrw. wanna ?”

Troyee:

"wait. waitwait. i’ll come. first time meeting y’all.

Arto: "then im coming also"

Moon: "you've to sing arto bro"

Aria : "arto daddy coming, sucks to live in dubai"

Goku:

"i’ll show up. don’t make it weird. first meetup ever"

Megh: "i wish if i could come"

Yui:

Aria:

Evie:

Everyone went quiet for a few seconds.

Shingami again texted:

"I can’t say for sure, but I’m telling you—this is more than just a case. Something else is happening."

Outside... the sky wasn’t just gloomy. It shifted. A black haze rolled in, silent and slow, like smoke but colder.

Arto looked out his window.

There was a man standing in his alley. Pale. Eyes glowing faintly. No movement.

And then—

his phone buzzed.

Unknown number:

“Don’t meet them.”

“You’re not ready.”

Same message was sent to Troyee.

Jazz.

Jiro.

Same number. No profile pic. No trace.

Jiro tried calling it. No ringtone. Just static.

And then—his front gate creaked open. But no one was there.

Last Scene | RUN

That night, CCTV footage from a hospital showed the woman walking out calmly. But behind her—two more figures followed. Doctors. With wide eyes. Smiling.

None of them blinked.

Outside, a little girl hummed.

And then suddenly stopped.

She looked directly at the camera.

And whispered something.

No sound.

But one word was clear on her lips.

“RUN.”
