This fish is actually my grandmas fish ( I’m sorry I lied) I will tell her the advice and he is getting really big so she’s probably gonna have to get a bigger tank for him. Somehow he’s survived in this bowl for more than a year with no filter of heater!
From experience 5 gallons would be best also try morning natural gravle (the pant can chip off and make the betta sick) also try putting in live plants as it can add extra good bacteria! The rest is up to you although I'd recommend doing more research (I even still look at betta care vids even though I have bean owning bettas for over a year, thare is always places to improve!) Also make sure you have antibiotics and meds on hand as your fish can get sick!

hey! id recommend a tank that’s at least 2.5 gallons with a filter and heater, and that’s also cycled. that would be ideal for a betta :blush:
