Today I woke up and found Maki had lost her fight to velvet. This pretty girl fought for over two weeks. A couple days ago I noticed she was doing worse until today she was gone. She was an incredible fish whom I loved and will miss dearly. Maki was my second betta I owned and my first female. She was the one who really made me appreciate plakats and females.
