Hello, I’ve noticed my conures feathers darkening. He’s 3, very healthy, eats lots of fruits & veggies! No signs of stress or unhappiness or anything like that. I’m confused if they’re oxidizing or if they’re just old because he hasn’t molted since I got him?

The most common answer for feather color changes in conures is poor diet- as diet plays a huge role in feather health. But if you think your birds doing okay in the diet department other factors like illness, sunlight, molting, and genetics come into it.
Birds feathers can change due to being sick, but you said it seems happy and healthy so I don't think that's it. Making sure your bird has exposure so sunlight can help. But sometimes due to genetics some birds feathers just get darker with age. Typically the feathers are darker after the bird molts but it's a possibility it's getting ready to molt.
But main thing is as long as it doesn't have any behavioral changes I wouldn't worry too much. But it's always good to keep an eye out

Not that I know off.. But yeah, I would just look out for signs that it's sick or not doing well, behavioral changes, etc.Otherwise it's probably not a big deal

Thank you, I’m gonna try and increase direct sunlight & vitamin D since that’s something I didn’t actually realize.

Yeah sounds good- even if that's not the root cause it's still good for them to get some sun and vitamin d
