Hey all, hope you’re all well. Thought I’d this challenge by telling you all my New Year’s resolutions. I’ve never really made them before, but this year, I had a few things that I wanted to work on.
1. Work on my art
I love art, and I would love to do it as a job someday. But I’m not quite at that skill level yet. I’ll be working on my skills - both digitally and traditionally - and also working on my art style, trying to find one I really like and connect with.
2. Work on my Japanese
I think travelling and discovering new cultures is super cool, and languages are a part of that. Japan has always interested me and I love the culture. Therefore, I decided to learn Japanese. Ive been doing it on Duolingo for the past few months, but it’s not great. So this year, I’m going to really work on it and really try to learn Japanese and learn it well.
3. Good grades
This one’s fairly self explanatory. I’m in school and I want good grades. I don’t really dislike school, since choosing my subjects, it’s been quite good, and I’m pretty academic so I usually do well. But I still need to continue work hard and hopefully still do well.
4. Continue in a happy and healthy relationship
In December, me and my boyfriend celebrated our 1 year anniversary, and it was great. It was so good and we’re both super happy. We’re looking forward to another year together and we’re hopeful for the future.
