New Rules

After thorough investigation of Team Amino guidelines I have made a new conclusion. There will be a new rule laid out in this community that caters to the LGBT+ community and as a part of that community I feel the need to make this simple announcement.

Amino guidelines state very simple that hate is not permitted and that you must respect on this app, so I want to directly address this issue. Seeing as there are gay, lesbian and trans people on this application, and even in this community it is required by TA guidelines that I do this.

There is to be NO disrespectful nor disregard to someones sexuality or gender. This means if you know a transgender / homosexual person on this app, or community, you are to respect that. If they have told you that they are a man / woman, you are to call them what they wish to be referred to. If someone says they are gay, lesbian, ect, you are NOT to disregard nor disrespect that. This means that you are permitted one warning for your first offense.

Your second offense will result in a twelve hour strike / mute. It is considered hate to Team Amino for persons to disrespect or disregard someone's identity / sexuality. It is not being a biggot or being "sensitive." It is not being a special snow flake. It is not being childish. This is a regulation put down by Team Amino themselves, in which I did not know before I spoke to a friend of mine who is a curator in another community, otherwise I would have set this rule in stone long ago.

I have seen more than my fair share of direct disrespect towards transgender / homosexual people on this application since I've been on amino and it simply disgusts me because it is so disrespectful.

That is all for this announcement, I apologize if I have upset anyone with it but it is simply a necessity at this point. I myself have even been subject to this issue and it is time to stop. There are many LGBT+ community on the amino app and in this community itself and I simply will not tolerate it any longer. Facebook does not tolerate it, twitter does not tolerate it, and neither does amino so my community will not tolerate it either.
