Age for an Hollow is an odd sort, as they are not entirely alive and they aren’t entirely dead. They also have different stages of evolution one can bring into consideration. Being born during the beginnings of the Norse mythology to the civilization known as the Vikings, Grohiik can be estimated to be around 1,600 years old, although is true age is not fully known. He evolved rather quickly over the years making his age from becoming an Arrancar around 800 years.

Despite being a hollow that is a body that is made up of thousands of different souls and having a quarter of them as female, Grohiik’s dominantie soul is Male and his appearance shows that well.

Sexual Preference:

This brings the question of do hollows feel attraction to a rather odd point, however there is a simple explanation to why Grohiik is Straight. To hollows there are two insticatioal reactions to those of with strong pressures. Some stay away from those that are vastly stronger, some are attracted to those that are stronger in the way that they will follow them and do as they request. For Grohiik, he has a strong primal attraction towards those that are the strongest among his race. The Simple fact of the matter is that a Female Arrancar is a force to be reckoned with given the shear rarity of them and the fact that they are the strongest soul out of hundreds of thousands.

General Appearance:

Grohiik’s appearance outside his armour is rather beastly, as he stands at a staggering six foot three inches tall with a burly muscular body that fits his viking heritage. The overall shape of his body makes an upside down triangle that leaves his upper body much wider thin his lower body. In concerns to proportions his body is pretty much equal giving him long muscular legs and arms. He has a defined jawline with deep inset eyes that have a soft blue glow to them making his helmed head give off an even more ominous look. He wears his long black hair in a low ponytail that usually drifts out from underneath his helmet when he wears it. With his size and amount of muscle mass, he weighs upwards of 230 pounds when he is out of his armour however his armour brings his weight up towards 300 pounds.

Mask:

Grohiik’s actual mask are two slivers of blood stained bone that resides underneath his eyes in the manner of viking war paint, however he is know to wear a false mask in the form of his armours helmet everywhere he goes that he can also manifest form his own reish at will.

Clothing/Armor:

Grohiiks clothing is made out of his Reshi and is apart of his physical body. This means that his clothing takes any appearance he wishes and is matrilized from his Reshi allowing it to be repaired with his regenerative abilities.

Grohiik’s clothing takes the appearance of leather armour with fur highlights and steel like plates located around his shoulders and arms. His feet are cloth wrapped with fur leggings and a leather belt.

His armour is primarily made of bone that is forged from his own reishi and takes the appearance of steel plate armour mixed with leather and fur. It also has a horned helmet that covers his whole face, along with the armour that covers his entire body like a literal second skin that can be healed with his body. This keeps up the ruse that his helmet and armour are his actual appearance as he wears them everywhere and is barely seen out of them.

Personality:  

Grohiik is a quiet, reserved, restless undead soul who much rather keep to himself and be left alone. When he does speak it is usually in a cold plan tone to voice his thoughts, but mostly his annoyance at being constantly bugged. He doesn’t have many emotions as he is generally very apathetic to those around him that he does not know, however there is an soft side to him that rarely anyones sees should they get through his thick mask. Despite not being able to understand jokes, he understands sarcasm very well and would gladly be sarcastic right back should the time call for it.

Fighting Style:

Due to his unique Zanpakuto Grohiik has taught himself how to effectivelō fight with whips, while also fighting with swords at the same time. Due to him not being formally trained in such styles he leaves himself open on small details, although can generally hold his own.

Spiritual pressure:

Like most Arrancars his age, Grohiik hold an enormous amount of spiritual energy within him along with the body to boot that allows him to go the distance with his opponents before showing signs exhaustion. He is also able to release large portions of it over a short amount of time to such an extent that the gravity around him starts to increase drastically, causing the ground around him to crack with each step and the sands of Hueco Mundo compact into solid rock beneath him. While Grohiik releases his spiritual pressure a deep blue aura emerges around him, as clouds of reistu raises off of his arms. Those around him would feel the feeling of being confined and isolated gnawing at their minds from the release of his spiritual pressure, although it doesn’t do any significant acts it is there as a means to unnerve the weak souls around him.

Physical Strength & Speed:

Grohiik has a rather large and heavy frame that is majority muscle giving him a large amount of natural strength that allows him to throw massive objects that many humans can’t hope to even lift and what most Arrancars would find difficult to throw over large distances. With his immense physical strength also comes his quick straight line speed or point to point speed making him a sprinter who can keep the speed up for a short amount of time but can quickly become exhausted. Despite his overall large figure and low agility, his mind his quick enough to allow him to react to incoming attacks and move accordingly to parry or minimize the incoming attack’s damage even if he can’t move out of the way, this also allows him to hang with most speedsters.

Senses:

Grohiik’s senses take much from his ancestry from his earlier evolution of a wolf during his Adjucaus and Werewolf during his Vasto Lorde days, meaning his wolf like senses retaining themselves into his Arrancar life. This gives him kin vision that allows him to see clearly for miles while also being suited for low light environments of the endless nights of Hueco Mundo. His heightened sense of smell allows him to detect poisonous gases in the air along with determine peoples location and track them for miles across the desert. His hearing is also on par with a wolf’s, allowing him to listen for movement around him and conversations up to a couple hundred feet clearly. The most notable sense though his his ability to feel, as he is one with the ground. This allows him to easily pick up on a person’s movement through the vibrations through the ground, making it a reliable means of locating enemies he can’t see.

Chōsoku Saisei (Ultra Fast Regeneration) & Hierro (Iron Flesh):

Over the centuries of his undeath, Grohiik has found the value in both his Hierro and Chōsoku Saisei leading him to train both of them in order to increase their effectiveness. His Hierro is strong enough to deflect many of those who are of weaker in strength spiritually and physically, while being able to greatly reduce the damage from those of equal footing and above. While his regeneration is quick enough for him to keep going in difficult fights that become drawn out. One down side to his regeneration however, is that the freshly regenerated portions have a much weaker Hierro before it’s over all strength is properly restored. His so called armor is the physical extension of his Hierro that can be regenerated over time as well, however it is of last concern being ‘healed’ last.

Having heightened vision suited for the night and heightened hearing that is sensitive to loud noises comes with their downsides, as it leaves one susceptible to bright lights and depthing noises which leave hum without two of his most important senses. Grohiik came to quickly realize this early in his undeath leading him to also prefect his ability to sense those around him over great distances with scary accuracy. Along with sensing in itself, he has taught himself how to use it in the middle of combat, as one would say he has become aware of a 10 meter radius around him where he can sense everything that happens in that zone and react to it.

Sonido (Sound Ceremony):

Like all menos class Hollows , Grohiik has access to the ability known as Sonido. He is able to perform this technique easily at a respectable speed in midst combat and quickly over large distances. He’s not the quickest around the block, but he has been known to be able to make one static speed clone that quickly fades away after its creation.

Cero (Zero):

Grohiiks Cero’s aren’t nothing to laugh at but they are not of a high caliber as far as damage, as he mainly uses them to weaken his opponent or throw them off. He is able to snap cero’s off instantly, but they are of low strength but still strong enough to kill low seated shinigami, on the other hand he prefers letting the cero’s charge in order to further boost their hitting power. He is also proficient in Bala and Cero Oscuras.

A unique Cero variant of his is achieved by him scooping up large amounts of earth and crushing them to a massive density while charging a cero around it, he would then launch the cero like normal but launch the chunks of earth as solid projectiles that are propelled with the cero.

Sealed Abilities:

Equipment Creation (Sealed/Ressurecion):

With Grohiiks ability to manipulate earth, he is able to create tools and whatnot from the ground around him in the mater of a couple of seconds depending on the quality of the work. The strongest he is able to make them out of would be effectively impure iron levels. To achieve this, he holds his hand above the ground and thinks about the object he wishes to create, and he lifts his hand up, lifting the object out of the ground.

Meseta de estaca (Stake Plateau, Sealed):

This Technique allows Gorhiik to stomp his foot into the ground while sending a burst of Reiatsu funneled through the foot into the ground. With the release of the Reiatsu, a tightly packed bed of 6 inch long stakes pop up from the ground around Gorhiik in a 10 feet radius. As Gorhiik lifts his foot off the ground, the stakes reside back into the ground. Over years of training with this Technique, he had learned how to extend it to his hand, letting him raise his hand causing the same bed of stakes to pop out of the ground in a 100 feet radius.

Manipulación de la tierra (Earth Manipulation, Sealed/Ressurecion):

Gorhiik is able to shape the environment around him that is within a 100 foot radius while he is within his Sealed form, this allows him to make simple structures, objects, and even weapons from the ground with just the thought and movement of his hands. When Gorhiik releases his Ressurecion the radius of effect extends to 300 feet, and allows him to manipulate the environment with ease and the simple thought directly around him. The constructs built close to him will be created much faster and stronger than those further away from his location.

Excavar (Burrow, Sealed/Ressurecion):

This Technique allows Gorhiik to drive his Zanpakuto chains into the ground, where they will then travel effortlessly through the ground towards his desired target and then launch out of the ground to either attack or subdue the target. The speed of this action is variable to how fast Gorhiik wishes, but is much faster within his Ressurecion.

Zanapkuto Appearance:

While sealed, Grohiiks Zanapkutō takes a rather unique appearance of having a thick chain link blade. The handle is designed to easily take two hands with ease, and when looking up form the handle one can see a 6 foot long compacted and rigged chain link section that has all sides sharpened, the tip of the blade also takes the appearance of a 4 sided javelin head. With the flick of Grohiiks wrist and pulse of his spiritual energy through the blade, each link of the blade unlocks causing the one rigged sword to become limp and extend to 8 feet, turning his sword into what effectively is a chain whip. The length of his blade can also extend to an extra distance of 20 feet, as the length is stored within the hilt as Reishi, and the extension of his sword also relies on his Zanpakuto being in its fluid state and must be retracted to solidify the links again. Should the chain break while in use it will take 24 hours for it to regenerate the lost length, however if more than 20 feet is lost, the use of his full Ressurecion is removed. Should the original 6 feet of blade be broken or damaged, then the normal rules of Arrancars Zanpakuto applies.

Zanapkuto Element:

The element that Grohiik has control over is earth, the Range of his control of earth can extend from the sands of Hueco Mundo to impure metals.

(Chained Damnation)

Ressurecion Appearance and Release:

Grohiik’s release is nothing short of elegant , as he raises his Zanpakuto above his head in its fluid state and lets the chain fall down to the ground only to start levitating and wrap around his body forming temporary armor to those who attempt to utilize the time to attack. His spiritual pressure then starts to climb drastically into an blinding explosion of blue energy with black streaks appearing at random, while the force of the explosion compresses the sands of Hueco Mundo into solid rock in a 100 meter radius. The sound of hundreds of chains blasting out of the ground would ring out from within the blast, as they head directly towards the morphing figure of Grohiik. When the smoke of the eruption settles the figure of a white seven foot tall werewolf almost completely covered in chains and shackles. Bone could be seen covering the tops of his hands, and extends up the outside of his arms towards his shoulders, while the same happens to his animal like feet, extending up to his thighs and thickening greatly over his thighs. Thick plate sections of bone would be seen to have covered his chest, gut, and grown arrears, while scale like bone plates line his spine, thus giving him what some may call a minor exoskeleton that protects his major organs. His mask now covers his entire face, taking the appearance of a Wolfs skull with two horns coming off of his head arching back, giving him the appearance of a wolf wearing the false depiction of a Vikings helmet. His hands also sport razor sharp claws formed from bone.

His Zanpakuto also shifts into two 100 foot long chains that wrap around his arms and are shackled to his wrists. Saying this, the chains wrapped around his body act like armor and are replaced each time he enters into his Ressurecion. His Hollow hole also morphs into two circles overlapping each other with “wings” branching off to either side.

Zanpakuto Chains (Ressurecion):

As mentioned in Grohiiks release description, he gains a set of 100 foot chains that are fused to his forearms and wrapped around his arms when not in use. With Grohiiks control of earth he effectively has telekinetic control of these chains, allowing him to manipulate them without swinging them around like whips (although he still does that, and can add extra force behind it). These chains are the physical representation of his Zanpakuto meaning that they are much stronger than the chains he is able to make and if more then half of each chain is broken that damage is permanent. The Structure of theses chains are adaptive, as he is able to shift the sides of the chains from being shaped or not, and fixed at the ends are a 2 foot long double sided sword blade.

Fracturando la tierra( Fracturing Earth, Ressurecion):

For this Technique, Gorhiik focuses a mass of spiritual energy into his right fist and then super punches the ground, launching the collected energy into the ground causing large chunks of earth to break, rip, tear, and crumble apart within a mile radius which leaves the environment looking like a massive earthquake had just been set off. The goal of this ability is to give his opponent uneven and steady footing that could crumble away at any second, while it also allows him to easily pick up chunks of rock and launch them as projectiles.

Cadena cero (Chain Cero, Ressurecion):

While Grohiik is inside his Ressurecion State, he has the ability to practically coat his chains in a Cero like aura that adds burning damage alongside the cutting damage. Although the true nature of this technique is launching large and powerful ceros from his chains that can take multiple shapes and sizes which would affect overall damage and power behind the cero’s. This means the Grohiik could launch multiple cero’s from his chain, launch one large cero from anypoint of the chain or even the tip, and so on. This allows him to add a sorta variability to his cero strikes and can further move his opponent into optimal positions for him.

Encarcelamiento encadenado (Chained Imprisonment, Resurrection):

Encarcelamiento encadenado is Grohiiks signature ability that is able to strike fear into his opponents just from the sight of the ability. To start things off, Grohiik presses his palms together in front of him while dark blue reiatsu swirls around his hand, as he focuses his spiritual energy into his hands, and pulls them apart leaving behind a lightning like, in appearance, aura of reiatsu around both of his hands. He then drives both of his hands into the ground, as what could be described as several hundreds of lightning strikes (of blue reatsu lines) arch towards and around his target or targets over a wide range at what looks to be the speed of light along the ground ending with a circle. With the arching of the lighting like lines chains instantly form underneath the ground along the path to the blue circles at the ends of the lines. At the end of this stage the target would be completely surrounded by hundreds of seemingly harmless glowing blue circles that are tightly packed to loosely packed the further you travel away from the target. With the formation of the blue circles on the ground, several hundreds of chains form from the ground and get launched straight into the air, to the target, and over the target at a random rate. The combination of theses directions presents the target with what could be described as an anti sonido/flashstep and anti flying net, meaning that the shear number of chains being launched into the air at extremely high rates of speed with multiple directions makes an extremely dense field that would be near impossible to navigate without getting tangled within the chains, while also traveling high enough to target airborne targets making them fly invasively.

The chains themselves that are created during this ability, are constructed from the earth around its target. The earth that the chains are formed from is quickly compacted and turned into extremely high density rock that could be equated to Seki Seki, Granite, and Quartz (even primitive iron), making it durable and strong but of course breakable with enough force. Each of these chains mimic his Zanpakuto chains, in that each outer edge is very sharp and the tips of them takes the shape of a hooked spear head. This lets them cut into their target to cause extra damage and tighten their grip to hold them still. With the creation of all these chains that steamed from the glowing blue lines on the ground,Grohiik is able to yank his hands out of the ground holding onto the ends of all the chains that would be fused to thicker chains closer to his hands, or just the chains that have successfully caught onto his target, allowing him to drag his target closer, swing them around, or bound them.

With this ability, Grohiik is limited to a range of 450 feet from him to his target meaning that he can do it over super long distances. The ‘ground’ must be made of some type of earth, although it is not limited to a flat plain. Wherever meet with a new earth like material like concrete, Grohiik needs to take the time to learn the makeup of it. The chains do take some time to be launched giving the target a half second to react before they are launched and another half second to clear the center. With training, Grohiik has managed to make 4 chains in a simple tasks out of combat.

Character Background:

Gorhiik once lived violent life among his fellow vikings until one day he was accused of a crime and then tortured to death by having his shoulder blades parted and lungs hung outside of his body. After dying he was infuriated with what had happened and couldn’t let it go staying around the village until he eventually lost himself to becoming a hollow and slaughtered everyone within the village under in animalist rage. After many years of roaming Hueco Mundo hunting those stronger than him and winning he progressed quickly through the evolutions until he became a Natural Arrancar. Now Grohiik wanders the desert alone while training every now and again to keep his edge.
