I'm writing on a site where all other bloggers are and it is not going as good as I thought it would be.
I'm following all advices I saw. I post twice a week for a year now. My posts have photos, inviting titles, question/s in the end to provoke comments, perfect grammar (using a tool to check it every time)... But still very little traffic.
That's why I was thinking about making a blog site specifically for one thing I'm writing about, but still keep posting on where I post now.
What do you think is better and why?

Having your own website sounds cool. But if a blog is not finding traffic a website may just be harder to get traffic without paying for a ad aswell as paying for the website hosting. WordPress is a good start and maybe try bubleup or is it Beluga. Might like Adimvi as these are social blogging sites. And although a lot of traffic doesn't always look for content as much as they look for something to do, it might not be for everyone. Keep writing as it good to stay productive.
