Carve Aphrodite in alabaster,

Paint Humanity; common disaster,

Compose the final symphony triumphant,

Act Ophelia, water-logged, recumbent.

Write like our very lives depend on it,

Read everything;  expose the hypocrite,

Recite the poetry of the thoughtful muse,

Like vapors, let the words diffuse.

I challenge those who see these lines,

To free one's self from what confines,

Self expression, and the poetic inclination;

The purest forms of communication.

Irony, correct??

Lets all write and post more.  This platform is too empty!!!!!
