Book Six

Okay hear me out...so like there was this tiktok. For some reason this was a streamer au, and i don't even watch gaming streams (except for that one streamer) but I still read it. Did i read this 70k fic in one day? Yes. Was it as good as the other one? No. However that 'we're just friends who joke flirt with each other" really got me, because honestly I'm worse than them, because I've literally kissed my friend, MULTIPLE times. And we made out and now I'm just a potato of a gay, filling my brain with gay fanfiction.

Yeah I don't have an excuse for this one. However I think this fic has cured my religious trauma. You can't judge me for reading this without reading this! Honestly I might just do a whole review recapping this, because it's honestly the best thing ever. Also I'm now addicted to the song with the same title by Bayside.

I really need to get off of tiktok. This one was just okay but then we got into the chronic pain and my heart went crazy. I'm sorry, someone taking care of you while you're having a pain episode and not getting annoyed at you for it?! Not leaving?! Bro my parents didn't even do that. Also there was this metaphor about the pain being hell and the love interest being heaven, therefore the title. Also the insecurities! Yes sir, i too think scars are hideous, but only when it's referred to myself. Also him hating one scar more because of how rough it looks and feels, ugh, i call mine Frankenstein, i hate him. Why do books never potray this :sob: I always end up having to seek it out in fanfics.

Book Nine

This was just smut and describing food like it was smut. This was fun though, because I'm finally learning about alcohol (I'm a waiter) and it's so weird describing alcohol as a person who doesn't even drink it. Anyway I learnt stuff! Mostly the fancy words just flew by my head, but still! I'm also still too pissed at this one Italian group so I got flashbacks every time someone said "grazie". I didn't get super attached to the characters though, which was sad because usually Mcquiston is really good at that.
