for the month of march we'll be reading mythology and lore! it's the perfect time to pick up that book you've wanted to read or to read more diversely by picking up one of our recs!

it's also the perfect time to reread percy jackson

for modern lore, you can read something that follows a recent lore. something with slenderman, for example.

for the element one - water, fire, air or earth. either one works!

Also I really strongly recommend that anyone who does the “Native American “folk lore”” square to make sure the author is indigenous. So often the story’s are taken from tribes and taken out of context or inaccurate and the authors profit off them with no benefits to any of the numerous tribal communities they stole from. Some stories are only supposed to be told at certain times of year or during certain ceremonies and all that often gets negated in these books.
