Sunday

I've decided to bring back the weekly reading blogs because its a fun way for me to see my progress.

Anyways so the books over currently started are Always Look on the Bright Side of Life: A Sortabiography by Eric Idle which is a nonfiction memoir, Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy which I'm listening to on audiobook.

I didn't actually end up reading anything.

Monday

i've found that while I've been trying to read romantasy that I'm not having much luck so I've been working through the romantasy novels and seeing if any of them end up being good and I've had no such luck. Im currently trying to read A Court Bright and Broken by Amy Patrick which I won from a Goodreads giveaway. So lets see how it goes, I am going into it with a neutral expectation.

I decided to simply dnf A Court Bright and Broken, I read a few pages and I just knew it wasn't going to be my thing. So I need to find another book to read as I'm not in the mood for my autobiography or my classic novel.

I ended up picking up Beautiful Darkness which is the second book of the Beautiful Creatures series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. Beautiful Creatures is one of my favorite books so I'm happy that im finally continuing the series as I have 3 of the 4 books. I ended up reading up to page 41!

Tuesday

I didn't end up doing any kind of reading today.

Wednesday

I spent most of today going through stuff so I didn't end up reading much of Beautiful Darkness but I did at least make some kind of progress, I got to page 69.

Thursday

I managed to read more of Beautiful Darkness and I got to page 122. This book is getting really interesting. I'm loving it close to how much I love book 1.

Friday

Didn't read anything. I got too caught up in playing Sims 4.

Saturday

I read more of Beautiful Darkness today and made it to page 239.

I am really enjoying this book, however Lena is currently really getting on my nerves, she's just being super irritating and I'm hoping she won't stay that way for the entire book.
