New Legend. Discussion

In case you haven’t heard, there is a new legend coming to Brawlhalla in January 2021... and wow... this is something.

So what do we know about the next legend? Welp, I’m here to tell you.

Basic rundown

Name: Unknown

Codename: Ghost Armour

Gender: None/Unknown

Species: Ghost

Weapons: Greatsword and Hammer

Seeing as I’m here I might as well predict the stats. Well... it’s a suit of armour, so it’s gonna have quite high defence, and it’s a ghost so it’s gonna be pretty fast... I can’t guess the numbers exactly, but I think it’s gonna have high defence and high speed. However now that I think about it, you can’t attack a ghost. You’re punches go right through them... oh crap could this be the 9 defence legend? The possible 10 defence? The one to challenge Xull? Oh god please no...

Sigs

Greatsword

Nsig

This image is quite confusing, don’t worry, but here’s what happens: The ghost shoots out of the armour and hits Koji. The armour goes onto Koji, basically possessing him, and the greatsword comes flying into his chest. The ghost then returns back into its armour.

Ssig

Jojo crossover?

The ghost comes out of the armour and charges the greatsword. They then slash forwards. Pretty straightforward.

Dsig

Unfortunately, we didn’t see the Dsig.

Hammer

The ghost shoots out of the armour straight upwards. The armour then files up, swinging the hammer and hitting the opponent straight up.

Ssig

Similar to the Greatsword Ssig, the ghost comes out of the armour and charges the hammer. They then swing it forward in front of them.

Dsig

Similar to Rayman Axe Dsig, Ghost Armour flies forward for a bit, and comes slamming down. We don’t know what happens when the sig connects as the trailer cuts, but I assume it’s a lot like Rayman’s Axe Dsig.

So... wow... this legend has some insane looking sigs... I look forward to seeing them in action.

Lore

Now believe it or not, we think Ghost Armour was hinted at a while back. They can be found in Onyx’s lore. And I quote: “With the help of a haunted suit of armor, she soon discovered the secret to her salvation.”. Yeah, if you ask me, that suit of armour that helped Onyx is the newest legend coming to Brawlhalla.

So I’m gonna assume Ghost Armour was a protector of Castle Volkov, and was killed alongside Onyx and Volkov when the castle was stormed by the Order of the Exalted Lion.

Although something interesting a lot of people have noticed is on the armour, it seems to have been shot with an arrow or something, and there’s a little symbol on it. What does it mean? I don’t know. We’re gonna have to wait and see.

We’ve already seen this legend...

This may confuse a lot of people, but we actually have seen this legend before. You might not have noticed, but they’re there. They were in the animated short, which if you haven’t seen, go watch it it’s amazing! Watch it!

What was I saying? Oh right. Look at the bottom right next to Brynn and tell me who you see.

You know that means other characters seen throughout the short will probably be ing the roster...? Ok I’m going off topic again, I’ll have to make another post about it.

My opinion

What do I think of the legend? Yeah, I love it! I’m not the biggest knight fanatic, but the whole idea of a ghost possessing a suit of armour? BMG have really outdone themselves. How do they think of these ideas for legends? It stuns me on how genius the team is.

Do I think this legend will be the best Greatsword legend? I don’t know. The 2 Greatsword legends we have are basically unstoppable compared to the rest of the roster, so we’ll have to wait.

However I know a lot of people are upset at this legend, and I can see why. For 1, it’s a Greatsword legend... and you know how Greatsword it right now... but I think what people were most upset about is the fact it’s a Hammer legend. Yeah, the last Hammer legend was Thor, so what? Well... the last Blaster legend was Isaiah... over 2 years ago... and I’m gonna be honest, I was also hoping for a Blaster legend seeing as I main it. But I like every new weapon, we get a lineup of legends released alongside it, and I think BMG wanted to end the lineup with a bang.

Greatsword haters... I think you’ll be at peace. Most likely, this will be the final Greatsword legend for a while... unless BMG decides to pull an Orb move and release 4 Greatsword legends back to back.

of the Blaster gang... we’ll be next. I can sense it. A Blaster legend is on the horizon. I can smell it.

A lot of people are saying that they shouldn’t have revealed it so early as we have to wait 2 months for its release, but those 2 months are gonna go by quickly. We’re in the anniversary event, the battle is still happening, there’s a Christmas update happening, still quite a bit before Ghost Armour is released.
