Hope (noun) - a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen; a feeling of trust

Hope (verb) - want something to happen or be the case.

Having hope is difficult in hard times. If you feel bad or are struggling, if you’re dealing with mental health issues, if your demons are trying to fight you. Hope is difficult. Hope is a luxury.

At least right now it is.

Hopeless (adjective) - feeling or causing despair about something; inadequate; incompetent

Hopeless is how I’ve been feeling these days. Everything’s all up in the air. Hopeless is my daily.

Yet hope is still a luxury.

Four letters of luxury. Eight letters of normal.

Abyss (noun) - a deep or seemingly bottomless chasm.

I’m in the abyss of hopelessness. An ocean of depression that pulls me deeper.

As I fall

Deeper and deeper

I close my eyes, my light burning out.

And I hope, with all my might to be again by your side
