This is the challenge for the Literature Club, where you have to write Autumn theme. I thought who to write about and the maknae line came into my mind. So, here it is!

Autumn leaves, cold nights and coffee :coffee: :fallen_leaf:

Autumn was well and truly here. The leaves falling off the tree and landing on the pavements. The cold nights and also a hot coffee to keep you warm. For Jungkook, he loved how the leaves changed their colours and the way they came off the tree. Tonight was a cold night but he wanted to go out and grab a coffee. Putting his coat on, he was about to open the door when he heard footsteps.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook turned to see Jimin and Taehyung.

"I'm going out to grab some coffee"

"Can we come with you? It's been a while since we've hung out together. Just us three maknae's" Jimin said with Taehyung agreeing with him. Even though Jungkook wanted to go on his own, maybe having some company would be nice.

"Come on then. Let's go and get some coffee" Jimin and Taehyung made sure they were wrapped up warm. The maknae's walked out the door. The cold night air hit them. They began to walk. Taehyung walked behind Jimin and Jungkook. The both were talking but they didn't know what Taehyung was up too. Taehyung looked to see some leaves. A smirk graced his lips. Picking the leaves up in his hand covered gloves, he slowly ran up to the two before throwing the leaves into their heads. Taehyung giggled as he ran away.

"Taehyung" Jimin yelled to the giggling lad as he grabbed some leaves as well. Doing the same as Taehyung did, throwing leaves into him. Jungkook looked at the both of them as he laughed and smiled. He decided to get into the "leaves fight". After a while, they stopped. They were still laughing.

"It's been a while since we've done something daft like that" Jungkook said getting his breath back from running.

"It is but sometimes I miss it" Jimin said, rubbing his hands together to get them warm. The leaves crunched under their shoes as they carried on walking. It was silent between the three but it wasn't an awkward silence. They were enjoying it.

"Days like this are nice. Even though it's autumn and the nights get cold but it's nice"

"I agree with you on that. Maybe we should come out more at night"

"As long as we don't keep having a leaf fight" Jungkook told Jimin and Taehyung. Both of them placed their hands on their chest.

"Jeon Jungkook, it's autumn. We're bound to have a leaf fight" Taehyung shook his head in fake disappointment making Jungkook roll his eyes playfully.

"I'm only joking with you, hyung"

"You better be, maknae" Jimin told Jungkook as he began to walk. Jimin grabbed a few leaves as he ran back up to Jungkook and threw them on top of his head. Jimin and Taehyung giggled at the maknae.

"Run, right now" they both ran and another leaf fight happened.

Walking into the warm cafe, the maknae's sat down. Jimin couldn't wait to have a coffee to warm his hands up. Jungkook brought over the three hot cups of coffee.

"Thank you" Jimin and Taehyung said at the same time.

"My hands can get warm now" Jimin blew on his coffee taking a sip of it. The warmness running through him. The windows began to get misted up due to the cold nights.

"We'll have to do this again sometime" Taehyung commented. Both Jungkook and Jimin agreed. Looking out the cafe window, some more leaves were falling from the trees.

"You know what I love about autumn" Jungkook whispered. Jimin and Taehyung looked at the maknae.

"What's that?"

"It's the change of the leaves. Going from green to a reddish brown colour. Or sometimes they go yellow. Then we've got the cold nights and a hot cup of coffee" Jungkook lifted his cup up as they all clanked their cups together.

Autumn is here. The cold nights are here. And a hot cup of coffee with your best friends.
